Now for the latest trial and Alan and Anne were getting pretty fed up with their trials. They chose Eammon, Ruth and Jessica to wave them off. When they arrived they saw a giant advent calendar labelled 1-12. The presenters explained the rules that one by one they would pick a number, the door would be opened and a box would be brought out.
First up was Anne and she chose 4 the door was opened and revealed a box of spiders and a helmet. She had to put her head in the helmet for a minute and the spiders would join her- she did this.
Next up Alan chose 1 and the animal was rats, he had to lay in the box for a minute and the lid would be put on- he did this.
Anne then chose number 9 and the animal was Wichetty Grubs- she had to eat it, she did this.
Alan then chose number 11 and the animal was green ants, he had to keep his hands in the box for a minute- he did this with a lot of screaming.
The fifth task was for Anne and she chose 7 the animal was snakes, she had to hold the snake and run round an obstacle course she did this and said she found it easy,
The sixth task was for Alan and he chose 2 the animal was cockroaches and he had to eat five of these, he did this.
Anne then chose number 12 and the animal was scorpions, she had to hold one in her mouth for 30 seconds- she failed this.
After that Alan chose number 5 and the animal was lizards he had to run around the obstacle course whilst holding them, he did this,
The ninth task was for Anne and she chose 8 the animal was crabs, she had to untie the star from the box of them, she did this.
Next up was Alan's task and he chose 10 the animal was maggots, he had to put his face in them and find the star but it was very small, he did this.
The penultamate task was for Anne and she chose 3 the animal was eels and she had to get in a coffin of them for a minute, she did this.
The last task was for Alan, and he had to choose 6, the animal was yabbies and he had to hold one in his mouth for 30 seconds, he did this.
They had won 11/12 stars
