youview Huawei box

Does anyone know when the major update for the Huawei box is scheduled to take place? i did read it was during December.

I have been looking for it all week, but my Huawei box tells me that I have the latest software. It can't be the software that was recently downloaded to Humax boxes, though, because my recordings are not yet organised into folders. Surely not much longer.

It seems there are some phantom updates, and talktalk are aware of this, yes i agree surely it must be this week for the update

The update arrived today. Commercial skip now supported and series link recordings grouped into folders. Does it do anything else?

The features will include the ability to utilise the remote record application on Apple Smartphone devices as well as the features listed below:

Ability to hide channels in the YouView guide

Improved performance, including playback and recording failures

Series recordings arranged as a roll-up

Improved visual design, including visible icon to show locked recordings

Playback recordings from any part of the programme - simply select your chosen time

Ability to configure settings to Dolby surround sound using SPDIF

Missing volume at the start of a programme fixed.
