Each year, the ages seem to get more and more far fetched. Are they really 16/17 year olds?

I can remember when I was 16 and 17, we were all little kids. Some of these contestants look like full grown adults. Some are "extremely well filled out", if you know what I mean.

Careful as the Paedofinder general may be lurking

But these are people old enough to have intercourse/get marriedy/join the army/drive motor vehicles (even if it is a 50cc moped) and most of them have been doing some sort of business for a few years but also look at the clothing they wear its about as teenage as lord sugar is and with some dodgy makeup/styling they're 17 going on 67

Haha. That young lady (who looks like she is 30!) who has the short hairdo had a top on yesterday where she practically had everything jumping out. I thought the Young Apprentice was meant to be all professional and what not. Sugar should have told her to put them away.

They is a 16/17 limit, but I'm not sure how rigidly that is followed. I know a guy who, despite being a little older than allowed, filled out an application form, saying the most arrogant and conceited things he could think of, and then got called to an audition. He didn't go as he'd only filled out the form as a joke, but it does suggest that maybe they're flexible on the ages.

And some contestants looked a lot younger, so its swings and roundabouts.

The clothes/make-up and only seeing them in a business sense adds to the illusion of them looking alot older than they are.

I didn't notice this at all.

Some people are fully grown by the age of 18 or even 21, others a couple years earlier. Not a big deal.

16 and 17 year olds aren't little kids.

Whenever I was younger my height didnt change at all between when I was 14 and 20, I was about 5'11 the whole way through that.

Also the girls can look older via makeup and confidence and how they dress and the same for the boys, confidence can make one appear older than they really are. The only one who looks actually like a child is Andrew.

There's probably a cutt-off date for the applications, so it may well be that a 17-year-old who applied and was accepted may be 18 by the time filming takes place.

Oh get a grip on yourself. There are plenty of 17 year olds who are blessed (some would probably say cursed) with big boobs.

Ashleigh didn't have 'everything jumping out', there were a couple of shots where she was showing a bit of cleavage and that was all - nothing wrong with that.

Kirsty Cleaver in Series 1 of YA was similarly well-endowed and, thanks to the vagaries of nature, it was probably just as difficult for her to wear anything other than a turtle neck and not inadvertently show a bit of cleavage occasionally.

The thing I wish Ashleigh wouldn't do is smother her face in so much foundation that it looks like she's made of plastic. So what if your skin isn't perfect - the natural look is always much more attractive than several millimetres of artificial goo trowelled on the skin. And those poor eyebrows have been sculpted and smothered with more artificial goo to within an inch of their lives!

When I started secondary school aged 11 I was 5'5", a b cup and already had a fairly mature face - not a baby face.

Next people will be suprised that some people are different heights.

'Some people are smaller than me, but they're 17 and they're actually older than me, and I'm thinking, "Are you actually for real?"'

Do you know who I'm quoting there? Say it in a strong Irish accent if you need help

You need to a get an even bigger grip. If she likes to wear shed loads of make up, who are you tell her she is wrong in doing so?

There are loads of people out there who wear even more make up and if she feels happy in doing, let her!

I actually think Ashleigh's makeup looks fine (though I haven't been closely inspecting it). It's a fair point though to say you think someone's style is not flattering.

Remember Maria from last year's apprentice?

Maria's make up made her look like a female wrestler.

Wait up, was she the scary looking young lady that was in the ring when they were advertising Strexy? LOL.

Ashleigh is the only one who I thought looked about 3 or 4 years older than her age.

Only 3 or 4 years older? Throughout this series, me & Mrs Mickey have been joking about how Ashleigh must be looking forward to getting back to her kids after the series, especially with one about to go to university

FWIW, I used to know a girl who had a D-cup by the time she was 9. And all I can say to the OP is that if you didn't know any teenagers with large breasts when you were a teenager, then your school days were a lot less interesting than mine were.

Alice looked gorgeous yesterday. That skirt was mightily short though.

LOL @ Ashleigh having kids that are old enough to go to Uni.
