For the life of me I can't get this to connect. I have enable hotspot and searches for it. Entered code and it doesn't do any more.

I have tried it with my wife's galaxy s3 and it works first time.

We are both on three's one plan

I was able to do it with my iPhone 5 and Xbox 360 on The One Plan.

Try changing the code to something simpler and try again.

As in how simpler? What's yours?

Well, mine's a really long sentence, but if you make it simpler (maybe just a simple word with a number at the end), it should be easier to type and there's less likely to be a problem.

I have tried it and still no luck. I even used the same code as my wife's phone and no luck either. But for some reason her s3 connects perfect first time

switch off tethering and reboot the phone. try again.

When I have had difficulty tethering to a phone I renamed the phones SSID to that of my normal SSID (from the landline broadband) with the same passcode and security type. That fools it into connecting.

At least then, I can see that the hardware is working as it should.

Then I start by changing security types, SSID name, sometimes having the SSID all in lower case, passkey in lower case, or even no security for a moment, just to narrow down what part it is thats causing the issue.
