Budget 3D Blu Ray player?
Anyone recommend a budget 3D blu ray player? We bought my mum a 3D TV last Xmas as I was going to get a Blu Ray for them, apparently they don't hardly watch DVDs these days, but I'd like to get one anyone but don't want to spend a fortune if it's not going to be used much. Would be nice to get the 3D version if only because the tv is 3D capable. Any recommendations?

How much is your budget and do you want it to be the same make as the TV you bought your mum for ease of use, remote wise ?.

I'd go for a 3D model so it's there if and when your mum/parents wish to use it. There are some good bargains to be had on 3D models and i'm sure your parents will be surprised at just how good 3D content can be. My father is 76 and when we bought our 3DTV and home cinema he asked to see what it was like and now whenever he comes to visit, he always sits and watches things lol of course it didn't go down to well with my mum, as now my dad keeps going on about buying a 3D set up lol

Think I'm going to go with the http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-DM...4999988&sr=1-4 it's not 3D but its a 2012 model and its networked and has iplayer and Netflix and i was originally thinking of getting a streaming device so they could have Netflix too so kind of kills two birds with one stone.

I know the OP has placed their order, but there is a 3D LG player for £65 at Asda online, they also do their "own brand" Onn 3D Blu-ray player in store, which is about £60 I think, but has been on offer for as little as £35.
I'm not suggesting these are high quality, but for occasional use they be good enough. |

I got the LG BP620 when it was down to £70 quid on Amazon. 3D enabled, but also has Lovefilm and Netflix amongst other things which is handy.
