To help Nicole out if it was too much for her to be a judge and be involved in two different duets. James wasn't against the idea and Nicole was considering it but x-factor production decided Nicole would have to do both.

James isn't missing out.

He'd be better suited to a duet with Toothlisa I think.

Is this the same Tulisa who had to pre record her single last week due to nerves??

That would have been pretty interesting but I suppose Tulisa has to be seen to be for all extensive purposes; impartial.

Both, Tulisa and James lack stage presence and listenable voices so they would feel each other

Intents and purposes too.

I think she had enough of that kind of stuff free to view

That's weird - I thought she wanted James to win so why didn't she offer to duet with Jahmene?

And what a strange thing to do - surely Nicole can cope with singing two songs. I know it would be too much for Tulisa but Nicole actually has some talent so not a problem at all.

Attention seeking from the worst "judge" the show has ever seen..

Tulisa and James singing Cos We're Young would have been interesting.

Most "star" performances are prerecorded for production reasons, no?

Glad James doesn't get a Tulisa duet - he doesn't deserve it. And I don't like Tulisa.

I'm not a fan of Tulisa but I think it's nice she was willing to help out.

What would they sing? Suck It & See by the Arctic Monkeys perhaps?

Yet her and little mix was the best of the duets last year....

Yes they were. I thought she sounded great and they harmonised very well.

I disagree. She made it all about her rather than about them

I thought the performance was the best and the song choice was excellent but it wasn't so much a duet as Tulisa with some backing singers.

It was a good idea and a shame producers didn't go for it. As she no longer has an act in the competition there would have been no impartiality problem. She would have been better with Union J, though — c'est la vie.

Nah, Jaymi would have wiped the floor with her, even the other one who sings a bit, is better than Tulisa

The producers are desperate for James to beat Maloney tonight - a duet with Tulisa wouldn't do him much good considering how unpopular Tulisa is these days.
