This could be the least watched Final EVER!

I believe the least watched Final (the first part, not the results) is Series 1 with 8.62 million viewers. I think it will just get a bit more than that, about 8.7 million.

Not a chance what? Not a chance that it will get more than 8.62 or not a chance that it will be the least watched???

I predict 8 million tonight and 10 million tomorrow.

Just not enough people give a shit anymore.

Being the final, it won't fall below 9m. But the Sunday show will peak higher than the series 1, 2, 3 and 4 finals (series 4 final peaked at 12.7m, if BGT can peak at 13.8m after getting 6-7m during the semi-finals then there is a chance).

It'll probably peak at 11 million, if they're lucky.

Not really a lot on tomorrow night, not unless you love Antiques Roadshow or snooker, that is. If The X Factor can't get a decent audience on Sunday it really is buggered.

I think 9million tonight, maybe 10million tomorrow with a 12million peak.

Obviously not amazing ratings, but you can't deny the fact that the ratings have been steady this season.

I reckon 14 million tonight then 17 million tomorrow.

I cant see X factor reaching 17m viewers.

Probably the dullest ever, but not the least watched.

You kidding? The averages have not even reached 10 million all season!

Ye, but not 14m. 2011 only had 10m and 12m for both shows. It will stay level to that maybe even down but only down by about 100k or something like that on last year

I'm thinking ratings will be considerably down on last years. I reckon it will struggle to get 9 million tonight.

It'll be the lowest rated performance show since the first series, possibly of all time. If +1 is included then the results should beat series one but it could be close based on the past coupled of weeks. Even without +1 I can't see it doing worse than 2005.

Overall it'll be the fifth most watched series, ahead of series 1, 3, 4 and 2 but behind series 7, 6, 8 and 5.

Performance Show Ratings:
2004 - 8.1m
2005 - 9.2m
2006 - 10.4m
2007 - 11.4m
2008 - 13.2m
2009 - 12.4m
2010 - 14.1m
2011 - 10.9m

Results Show Ratings:
2004 - 9.7m
2005 - 9.3m
2006 - 10.2m
2007 - 11.7m
2008 - 13.5m
2009 - 15.6m
2010 - 17.2m
2011 - 13.1m

Including +1 I think 8.2m-8.7m for tonight and 9.8m-10.4m for tomorrow.
