If 3 million votes come in for Chris that comes to 1 million for Cowell, he can use that money on Chris album before dropping him. What's the point/

Just for the hell of it. Come on Chris!

Yep but he can decide when to terminate that contract....i.e early next year after a rushed album release.

No he won't................... Chris won't win! Chris does not sodding deserve to win.

a. He is fake
b. He is a cheat because of him continuously ringing up the lines voting for himself. Maybe that's why he's here tonight! Because he cheats!

After X Factor, if he wins- he will not even have chance to even release the album. I bet you Cowell would dump him streight after the winners single.

NO ONE VOTE MALONEY BECAUSE THEY AIN'T NO POINT! HE WILL BE A FAILURE WHICH EVER WAY YOU LOOK AT IT!

Yes, keep voting. The more you vote the more money Cowell has to pay for the losses on the album. Plus, Chris gets to be totally humiliated in a few months time before going back to the cruise ships. Whoo!!

Voting for yourself is not cheating. Do you really think David Cameron voted Labour in his constituency during the last general election?!

Lolwhat? You think Cowell gets all the money charged for voting? Syco get very little of it.

I know I was exaggerating

I do not want him to win tonight! The only way I would vote for him is to see him win then him to not even get offered a record deal and then he goes on CBB a year later trying to get sympathy!

Cowell wouldn't be bothered. Chris would be the easiest to manage. A cheaply made, cheaply marketed album of covers and pre-written ditties released for Mothers Day would turn a surefire profit for all concerned. It is the other two, with their expensive co-written songs, 12 month gestation period and volatile target demographic that would risk financial losses.

As reluctant as I am to disregard the advice of such an obvious intellectual powerhouse as your good self, I am planning to vote for Maloney tonight and, if he's still in the competition, tomorrow also.

April, July, December? Does it really matter when you get dropped? Chris would only be dropped sooner because he'd release sooner and if his album actually made money (see my second-to-last post as to why I believe it very likely would) then why would he drop him? Out of spite?

I can't see Maloney selling 50,000 albums so it's very difficult on that forecast to see where Syco could make money. Let alone enough money that they would want a second album (given that his sales would likely drop further).

You've convinced me to vote for him, in the hopes that he wins and you get even more butt hurt about it.

Christopher has already addressed this stupid question anyway, like he said ....he oes not get paid for being a contestant, he has no money coming in and his bills are stacking up at home, where the heck is all this so called money coming from?
