If 3 million votes come in for Chris that comes to 1 million for Cowell, he can use that money on Chris album before dropping him. What's the point/

Cowell wouldn't be bothered. Chris would be the easiest to manage. A cheaply made, cheaply marketed album of covers and pre-written ditties released for Mothers Day would turn a surefire profit for all concerned. It is the other two, with their expensive co-written songs, 12 month gestation period and volatile target demographic that would risk financial losses.

April, July, December? Does it really matter when you get dropped? Chris would only be dropped sooner because he'd release sooner and if his album actually made money (see my second-to-last post as to why I believe it very likely would) then why would he drop him? Out of spite?
I can't see Maloney selling 50,000 albums so it's very difficult on that forecast to see where Syco could make money. Let alone enough money that they would want a second album (given that his sales would likely drop further).

Christopher has already addressed this stupid question anyway, like he said ....he oes not get paid for being a contestant, he has no money coming in and his bills are stacking up at home, where the heck is all this so called money coming from?
