Previously on Battle Of The Seasons, our DS public's chosen top 10 sang live for your votes with Winter Songs, whilst some were able to bring the Christmas Cheer, others felt short of a supply of coal. But in the end, we had a shocker as Kitty and Jade found themselves singing sour survival and sadly, it was Jade who had to go home in a deadlock shock! Tonight, our nine Christmas drummers are taking on songs that came out the same year as the birth of the contestants, so this is going to be sort of like a nostalgia mania which I like a lot indeed.

Anyways, fighting for your votes are:

EndOfSanity and The last of the '09 CLASS
Despina Pilavakis

Ryan11 and The '10 CLASS
Elesha Moses
Belle Amie

bboy1988 and The '11 CLASS
Joe Cox
Kitty Brucknell

NarutoFan100 and The '12 CLASS
Jake Quickenden
Leanne Robinson
Carolynne Poole
District3

Good evening ladies and gentleman, welcome to where your Saturday night starts right here! *Spins around*
Alright, before we begin, let's hope we have a lively panel, judges please confirm your presence.

EoS isn't here tonight, however I have his comments ready and there's no sign of Ryan, so he'll have to catch up when he can.
Opening the show is the last of the 2009 class and tonight, she's gonna be cold-hearted (Uh Oh), it's Despina Pilavakis!

Despina -
Despina, that was a good performance for a very difficult theme. I think your monster chose a great song choice and i think you are improving week on week. I thought it was a solid performance.

Despina Pilavakis
That was an amazing opening to tonight's show, it suddenly got about 10 degrees hotter in here! The staging was incredible, and I loved how contemporary this performance was for a 1989 song! This was a bit different from your usual style, but you coped really well with it regardless. Your main asset is your versatility, and we're far from done with showing everyone exactly how talented and versatile you are. I really hope you get through tonight, as you deserve nothing less!

Despina

Well done on opening tonight's show Despina. Can I start by applauding your mentor EoS on taking a massive risk choosing a Paula Abdul song for you, it is a brave choice. Vocally it was a reasonably good performance but personally I hate the song. I want to say though I won't vote based on my opinion of the song I will vote based on your vocals tonight but I still fear you will be middle of the batch and could have a fight in your hand. But best of luck and I hope to see you in the next show.

We start with great comments for Despina, her mentor will be certainly be surprised and happy to hear about it.

Now we go to the first of the '12 class that STILL has four acts in the competition.
Next up and they believe that they have the right kind of love, it's District3!

Guys, this wasn't exactly what I meant by shaking it up. Your harmonies were quite good as usual, but I wasn't really impressed by the performance overall. It may have been the theme, but I hope you survive tonight to impress me next week as this week just didn't cut it for me. I know you can do it, as you've delivered better performances before.

District 3

Guys I gave you a and your mentor a hard time last week, but I am tough on you as I feel you have the potential if given the right songs to be great. One thing I have found with you guys is that you are not exciting to me. Vocally the harmonies are good, but for me there hasn't been a moment in the competition yet that I have really sat back and thought that you guys are fighting to stay in. The performance should see you through to the next show but like Despina, I fear you will be middle of the pack. I hope if you get throug that you can show me the fire in your bellies and bring that fight out in the performance.

It was a really difficult theme this week but i took a risk and i thought it worked perfectly. It wasn't dated and ancient, and it was a great performance. Your act and olden music don't mix in my opinion so by delivering a great performance shows you are versatile. I hope you can make it through to next week!

So it's mixed comments for District3, but will the public save them again as before?

Next up is the previous sing-off survivor with a candlelight song and she wants to be forever young (don't we all?), It's Kitty Brucknell!

Note: (Kitty will play the piano also)

Kitty

Wow Kitty. I know I am your mentor and I will always give you all of my support but during the last results show I publicly said that Jade should have stayed over you as she knocked that sing off out of the park. But there was a real change this week with you. I remembered this song and thought and still think it was the perfect song for you. I am not a big fan of the massive extravagant performances for you as I think you have one of the strongest voices I have heard in a long time and those massive stage productions tend to take away from your voice. So throughout the competition I have been stripping the performances back so that I can showcase your voice. I was tempted to give you the staging and play it safe this week and try to get you through to the next show, but then I thought no I am not changing my tactics with you. Your voice is amazeballs and that performance showcased that. To see and listen to you just sit and play the piano and sing your heart out was special. I hope that the public continue to warm to you and continue to give you their support so we can keep coming out and fighting to show what the real Kitty Brucknell is capable of. Also kitty I just wanna say for me this was the best I have heard you sing throughout the entire competition and I hope the public will agree with me.

Kitty Brucknell
I was expecting to hate this as I'm not that keen on you anymore after you survived last week over Jade. However, this performance was what your previous one should have been. Stephen did a great job with you, as he really let you put your stamp on the song. It was a beautiful performance, and coupled with a rebound vote, you should be safe tonight. Well done Kitty!

In terms of vocals it was a great performance. You nailed the arrangement as well. But i was left a little underwhelmed after the performance. I dont know if it was the song choice or the tempo but it did leave me a bit empty, as this is not the Kitty that we all know and love.

Great comments overall for Kitty tonight, will she get the added bonus of the rebound vote?

Now for the '12 class again and he wants to be your sweet child of his (apologies if that came out wrong), it's Jake Quickenden!

I'm on the fence about this performance, as it wasn't my favorite one of yours. You survived last week, but something tells me that you might be in trouble again this week as that wasn't exactly the most spectacular song choice in the world. I'm still waiting for your mentor to give you a song from a REALLY different genre though, you need a performance that makes everyone go wow and you need it soon.

I am so glad you are here as you deserve it. You always come back fighting and that performance was superb. I think the 'rock' edge suited you, and your vocals were on par. In terms of entertainment, you didn't fail to deliver, and i hope people do vote as you are great!

Jake I have publicly been a fan of yours as I like your voice, but for me over the past few weeks you seem to have stall at the same level. The rest of the acts have been raising their game every week and coming out strong but for me you are coming out each week and I am not seeing much improvement. I am sory Jake I had massive hopes for you and at the beginning I even considered you as a potential winner but after that performance I fear you are in trouble tonight. This is definitely not the Jake we all know and love.

So it's mixed comments for Jake as before, will he be in trouble again?

Now for the '10 class and she believes that it must be magic to see her getting this far, it's Elesha Moses!

Elesha Moses
That was a pretty old-fashioned performance. I quite liked it, but I know that not everyone on this forum is a big fan of the eighties. It was a really fun performance though, and you should be safe tonight based on your previous performances plus this decent one. Well done Elesha!

Elesha

Elesha I just want to start by saying I commend your rmentor in taking a risk with this song choice tonight. But I have to be honest and say it wasn't my favourite performance of yours from the competition but it was still a good fun performance. I have no real doubts that we will be seeing you in the next show when I know you will come out fighting stronger than ever. Well done tonight

I am not too sure about the song choice. For me it didn't work, but i do understand the limitations of the theme, so it was a average performance for me i am afraid

Mixed comments for Elesha, after starting off so well earlier in the competition, could she be in trouble tonight?

Time for the '12 class once more and she can see forever in our eyes (or so she says), it's Carolynne Poole!
