Kimbers and Dani by far outshone the rest. Kimbers just shades it because it was bonkersly brilliant whereas Dani was expectedly brilliant. Love both girls. Top marks for Pasha and Vincent as well. Miles ahead of the others.

Flavia choreographed the routine to the music they were given (as did Robin) and it would have been odd to start tango-ing at an early point. She also gave Louis a dance he's never done before; and it's generally acknowledged that the rumba is the most difficult for the male celebs. Instead of burying it and letting the tango (where Louis had already done well) take precedence, she showcased it as a new strength of his. Lisa was dancing two dances she has already done before.

But it was still fusion week, rather than 'three quarters of the routine dancing the Rumba then a quarter dancing the Tango' week.

Where is it written that you have to do half and half? Surely you do what suits the music, rather than making sure you do 45 seconds of each?

Thought that Pasha and Vincent did an amazing job with their choreography and really allowed both Kimberley and Dani to shine last night. Kimberley and Pasha's Cha Cha Cha/Tango was like a crazy but brilliant showdance and Dani and Vincent took too highly compatible and made something really special.

I wasn't over keen on Flavia and Louis' Tango/Rumba. It felt too much like a Rumba with a bit of Tango tacked on at the end, I preferred the fusions where the Pro found a way to merge two different dance styles.

She may have thought that, considering their results recently, she had nothing to lose and may as well risk something different. It didn't work imo. A fusion like Dani's would have worked better for him.
