I really enjoyed it personally, crazy combination of dances but they made it work somehow.

Kim, Dani, & Louis (no particular order) were the best tonight.
For this late in the comp and to give the show the wow factor that's been missing, someone had to have 4 10s and it was for the last dance and Kim. SCD has become very stage-managed. Very good dancing from all the top 3 though.

Agree Kimberley certainly had 'it' in spades and nailed it tonight.

I thought Kimberleys dance wa spectacular.

Full of content from both styles, fused well, she ahd the right 'feel' for each of the styles and it was full of surprise really. not very predictable. Also the fusion of Tango Cha Cha was one of the more difficult ones. And she did it great. Kudos to pasha.

People comparing it to Dani's. Well yes Dani was great, and IMO her best dance. But for me, I do not think a Charleston/Quickstep is a 'fair' fusion. I mean, the Quickstep actually has Charleston moves in its accepted repetoire. So fusing them is a complete cop-out IMO as basically its already always done all the time. The whole idea of fusions is to combine two dances that dont usually go together.
All other fusions were a challenge (some more so than others) but this was completely easy IMO. yes she did it well, it was a great routine, but it shouldnt ahve been allowed as a fusion.

By the same token you could argue that Kim & Lisa had it slightly easier because they'd already done both their chosen dances before.

Anyhow, I thought both girls were fantastic. I did spot the slight mistake in Kim's routine. But then Len pointed out that Dani was missing heel leads.

Taking everything into consideration, I'd have given Dani & Kim the same mark. I definitely got more WOW factor from their perfomances than any other performance so far this series. They've raised the bar.

I think it was by far her best dance to date, and she definitely deserved to score 35/36. But there were three better dancers tonight: Dani, Denise and Louis.

I'd rank them like this:
Denise
Dani
Louis
Kimberley
Lisa
Nicky

Oh no wait, I'm a biased Louis fan, right? So I shoulda put him first. What was I thinking?

I don't think anyone deserved 40 tonight - there were small mistakes in Kimberley's dance and in Dani's, and much bigger problems with the rest.

But Kimberley did do a brilliant fusion and it was so energetic I couldn't help but look past the mistake and love it anyway, same with Dani

I'd rank them like this:

1= Dani and Kimberley (scoring around 37-38)
3 Denise (scoring around 33-34)
4 Louis (scoring around 31-32)
5 Nicky (scoring around 25-26)
6 Lisa (scoring around 22)

I've uploaded a snippet from the show here > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq_SZ...ature=youtu.be

but I can't see a mistake if there is one, maybe a slight correction of balance.

It was one of the best performances this year, she stepped it up. Well deserved.

IMO Kimberley was, Dani's charleston was excellent but she looked a bit clumpy at times and as Len said - no heel leads*
The musicality in Kimberley's dance was amazing, they punctuated every point and it was one of the few that had seamless fusion.

* or it might have been turns - I never know.

Yes, she did make a mistake coming out of the lift and apart from that, there were sections where she didn't finish lines, her arms were flying around far too much and in general it was very steppy. She has an awkward quality when she dances - she has since week one.
