I'll accept your opinion that he may be raunchier.
But less funny than Bruce?

Bruce has never left me helpless with laughter.
Michael M has, frequently

Oh, didn't think he was even that good, to be honest; you are very generous with your assessment.

Me too.

Bruce has never been a stand up comedian in the traditional sense of the word. Bob Monkhouse had more stand up experience than Bruce and they were both really presenters with other talents.

I never laugh at MM. At least with Brucie, his gaffs and bad jokes raise a grin and shake of the head. Strictly isn't a serious show

I would imagine it's all relative and a good performer knows how to tailor their material to their audience. So, someone who has the gig of presenting a pre-watershed BBC Saturday night show won't use the same material as they would if they were the 'turn' at a late night Rugby award do, for example.

Bruce can certainly be near the knuckle at times both in humour and good taste, so I would imagine he is no different to anyone else in that respect.

Terri doesn't seem to know what facts are. hopefully he/she has time to learn. Terri could start by telling those that are interested to know his/her age and sex

no chance of that happening is there, Terri? lol

Can we have him instead of Bruce?”

i hope not. he may well be a decent stand up comedian but that doesn't make him qualified to host Britain No1 saturday night entertainment show. in fact the last thing the show needs in another host who uses SCD to showcase their brand of humour. it's not a comedy show. what strictly needs is a host (Chris Tarrant, Noel Edmonds just examples) that has the experience and authority to command the respect of the judges for this type of show and can sprinkle a touch of humour when appropriate.

Michael McIntyre is too young and from what i saw of him as a host of Britain's Got Talent series 5, he seemed as suitable as Victoria Pendleton is to dancing. he was replaced after one series by David Walliams/ Alesha Dixon.

Ronald Regan thought he'd actually fought in some battles, where in fact he just starred in films about them.

Bruce still thinks and acts as if he's presently hosting the Generation Game.

Why anyone would want to pay eighteen quid for that load of rubbish I'll never know.
They say "when you're in a hole stop digging."

He obviously can't, he's tarnishing his reputation with his mediocre performances on Strictly, now a book which digs up old news of his life, the salacious parts of which many of his fans won't be aware and then he's going to appear in three shows, probably financed by himself.

Talk about a desperate need for attention.

interesting article. so Sir Bruce was a love rat. lol

i think i've just worked out who Terri is. Terri must be one of the beauties Brucie got his leg over back in the 60s, whilst he was still married to his first wife. Move on Terri. that was 50 years ago. he doesn't love you anymore. lol

Sir Bruce has never been in need of attention his brand of clean talent has always been in demand I'm just hoping that they set Sir Bruce free from the autocue in the final

Take away the auto-cue?

Yeah!

A great idea, then instead of appearing occasionally befuddled, he then won't have a clue what's going on.

Suits me, it'd be the final nail in the coffin for his career, if a little unfair unfair in my opinion.

But if that's what you want, why not suggest it to the producer?

You must have watched a different show to me. He got muddled up with his words on his auto cue and he got muddled up with words on his cards. As nice as he is its time to call it a day Brucie.

I doubt whether I'd watch the show without Bruce. I was the same with The Generation Game in the 1990's.

I've got to hand it to Bruce, he was a right pain to the very end, doing his, "I'm in charge" nonsense.

Even when presenting the trophy he kept looking at the camera, as if anyone wanted to see that old wrinkled face.

Well done Bruce, sour to the end, like it mattered if people came on and hugged the winners.

Sheesh.
