How discriminating. So you think young people's votes are more important than those of older voters. Votes are votes dear, get over it. You've got some growing up to do.

The young ones are more important. Because they more accurately represent the top-selling music buying market.

I'm a crusty old dear myself, as it happens

... just making an observation that Chris didn't have any young people supporting him

Oh what - the pop market. Who cares about pop, that's for teens. There are more quality types of music out there.

Typical manipulation by the TV execs... When he did his home coming off the ferry there was loads of people there to greet him.. Of all ages and also at the theatre ...

Yes, which is why X Factor has contributed so much to the development of death metal, jazz fusion and happy hardcore acts - the show has never claimed to have anything to do with finding a new pop singer.

There are quite a lot of younger viewers voting for him. I think you are stereotyping.

I will be voting for Jahmene - he is not my age group - but I think he is great.

Chris's supporters all crusty old dears? That's not entirely true. I saw a cross range of people of different ages in the home-coming vt.

There seemed to be quite a lot of young people there. The x factor chose to only interview the older people.

If you want to get one over Syco, don't vote.

You're just lining their pockets anyway. Chris will be lucky if he lasts 6 months if he wins.

How disrespectful, mature people like music as well, their opinion does count for something, and maybe some respect for senior citizans wouldn't go amiss.
