The sob story VT, constant praise and then the walk on as if coming onstage at his own gig through the backstage.

They are really pulling out all the stops to make James win. Personally I don't see the appeal and find him a complete bore. Now off to spend a fiver voting for Christopher and more if necessary.

Maybe you should check out the votes on this site? Everyone seems to be favouring him as well...maybe it's cos he's blimin good?

Why are all chris fans boasting how much they're spending on votes, you're crazy but you need to spend that for him to have a chance, and he'll probably lose and you've lost all your money for nothing? lol

It's fairly embarrassing for a final alright....they're not even attempting to be neutral.

The only embarrassment is that he is so much better than the other two in terms of singing. He won round 1 by a country mile. Not saying he will win but he bloody well should.

Don't worry I've got plenty of money to burn and would rather waste it on someone who actually looks like they are enjoying the experience and want to win. James has trouble raising a smile at the best of times. Oh and the Digital Spy polls mean nothing that's been proven week in and week out over the series.

He's truly awful but he's seen as the 'cool' act so they want him to win it. Passionless grunter wins X Factor well it's about what they deserve after kicking out all the good acts with tactical voting from the judges.

I do not really think any three of them deserve to win but James is by far the worst singer and most boring of the three.

He could have been better if he'd taken my advice and had a laxitive. The strained voice and pained expression and movements tell me he is still suffering from constipation, and we are suffering having to listen to him.

He's clearly the most popular act with the public, the two biggest tabloid newspapers had him taking about 50% of the vote in who do you intend to vote for polls and the bookies slashed their odds accordingly. I cannot see them being that wrong, I will be absolutely astounded if James is not the winner. The YouGov poll which was what the Sun quoted, is pretty widespread demographic, across all age ranges etc and if they say he'll win by a clear majority, he will as Joe and Matt did afte also being predicted landslide wins in the YouGov poll.

The only thing I cannot understand is the 'Chris winning every week' thing that surely would point to a landslide victory for him, the published full results tomorrow will be very interesting, I suspect James has pulled away since Ella left leaving him now in pole position.

Agree. I'm voting for Chris as I always do. He has
been amazing tonight, yet again - and no nerves.
I really can't bear James and Jahmene let himself down tonight, but mainly bad song choices.

I suspect James is nowhere near as popular as you think Nicola. Why would the producers need to show such blatant favouritism if he was running away with the votes?

James and Ella ended up in the bottom two together, sort of blows all your theories out the window.

The point is you're all going the polls mean nothing, the screams for him mean nothing, Twitter support means nothing, bookies odds means nothing when they clearly do. The polls had James way in front and Jahmene significantly ahead of Chris in a distant third and yet people were still delusionally saying James would go out 3rd tonight. Polls can be wrong but not THAT wrong, the bookies knew it and that's why the odds changed to reflect that today as the smart money was piled on James.

Takes all the fun out of it when they dont even attempt to play fair. Mic fail for Jahmene and the first song choice for him were just two blatant attempts tonight to help James win. Dreading what they have in store tomorrow night.
