If James talking about where he's come from is a sob story, Jahmene's had one every week.

What about the massive JAHMENE sign in lights during Motown week? That sort of thing surely cost far more than tracking James Arthur to the stage.

As for the judges' comments... that's what they're supposed to do - praise the ones they believe are best.

Two weeks ago James was beaten in the public vote by Union J, Rylan and Christopher. So maybe not so popular really.

Not saying he won't win - but tabloid polls don't always get it right.

Me too. It's really annoying. One example is when he got through and Tulisa and Louis were jumping up and down (maybe it was because Chris didn't get through).

I believe that was the reason for the bouncing with joy — it was my reason.

James got through to the final two, and Chris got voted off...three cheers for James......and how wonderful it is with no more Chris Baloney.

The two of them probably don't even like James Arthur. Since when is Tulisa a fan of singer / songwriters with a guitar?

But perhaps the plan is to have a novelty act - 'The Singing Sloth'

Does he have any personality or any charisma whatsoever, or does he always just shamble around.

Who knows?

I do know at one time she didn't like Maloney's act. Despite her encouraging comments to him of late. She's allowed not to like him and be glad he's out of the competition. Plus him staying so long must have cost her some of her and Louis' acts their places which wouldn't have been endearing to either Louis or Tulisa, seeing as neither had anyone in the final.

Felt sorry for Jahmene last night. Stitched up with his first song which also fell victim to camera faults at least on HD then convenient mic-gate fiasco and the judges making it blatantly obvious who they want to win but almost saying was great of him to turn up.

My daughter felt the same way as you, she asked me why were they leaving Jahmene out of everything, that's how it seemed to her.

The series has been obviously biassed to James Arthur. Last night he was given tbe best slot and far better and more popular songs. Every major artiste throughout the series has promoted him and while the judges were always nice to Jahmene they go bonkers for James. For me he is emperor's new clothes, I just don't get it.

If he has been overpromoted beyon his real audience appeal it will backfire because while he cannot sing at all IMO - but whatever my personal taste - he definitely cannot sing well enough in a mainstream, crossover style to be a successful X Factor artiste. I expect Jahmene, Union J, Ella and probably Rylan all to outsell him. Probably Chris's naff hits of yesteryear album will outsell him too - and all the others LOL. He hasn't got the personality to be a TV star and it's hard for X Factor artistes to get anywhere without all the TV promotion. He can't be a cool indie artiste because he's off the X Factor, he has signed that Faustian pact and now he will have to live with the consequences.

Clearly this years show has been a great success!

A success, that is, if you want to promote an uncharismatic, personality free, untalented, shambling, mumbling sloth who seemed totally incapable of projecting himself at anyone or anything.

Probably the worst ever 'star of tomorrow' that the show has ever spawned.

If he's still around in 6 months time it will be a miracle.

Sitting thinking about it last night, I suddenly thought that maybe it was a game by Simon. Lets see how much control we have over the people that vote. Push one star that is not really very good and see if people will be foolish enough to listen to us and make him the winner. Simon has shown in the past that he really does not care who wins as he can pick and choose who he wants to back after the final regardless if they win or loose. Somebody mentioned the emperor's new clothes and that is what it has been like
