I never quite understood why Simon tried to embarrass Nicole by implying she couldn't sing at age 20 (like the contestant on stage). Surely he knew better?

She is a great singer, she has a good personality. She comes across as genuine, sincere and pleasant. Her "boys" really seemed to like her.
it would be a shame to lose her next year to the likes of Tulisa, who, imo , is not good enough for the role or Cheryl who, imo, is a bit above herself!
