Oh I'm afraid it will be a year or so before we are completely safe. There is always some publicist somewhere out to make a few quid from a minor celeb. If we are very unlucky, he'll be on Strictly Come Dancing next year

No. The last Daily Star report of 'leaked' info came after week 7's show. They did not say he passed Jahmene before the final. They said that he was top for 7 consecutive weeks. There have been no leaks reported since week 8, only bits of speculation about what show insiders want, fear etc.
