Two dances. One ballroom, one latin (or whatever is considered it here if nowhere else). Let's see how they line up.

For latin they'll be doing either the paso or rumba - have a feeling they might do the latter.[*]Denise & James - Argentine Tango or Tango for ballroom. Rumba or Samba for latin. (If they get argentine tango + samba that's surely the nightmare scenario for James.)[*]Kimberley & Pasha - American Smooth, Argentine Tango or Waltz for ballroom; charleston or rumba for latter.[*]Lisa & Robin - Same ballroom dances left as Kimberley. Latin options are paso or salsa.[*]Louis & Flavia - Argentine Tango, Foxtrot or Quickstep for ballroom (previously reported he was doing AT as new dance in final but that's now changed for Dani so may have done for him as well). Must be doing Jive for his latin by process of elimination.[*]Nicky & Karen - Must be doing Viennese Waltz for his ballroom. Paso or Salsa for latin.[/LIST]

Please please please let Denise or/and Kimberley have the Rumba because I have been waiting 11 weeks for it to happen. I am optimistic that they could be the hottest Rumbas to be ever performed on the show because they both obviously ooze sex appeal and people would want to see them working the raunch of the dance - phoar!

Also how come the prospect of an AT showdown between F&V has been dropped?

Personally I want to see Kimberley + Pasha do the Charleston ! Would love to see how they do...

What I would want to see:

Dani - AT and Rumba (are they skipping the American Smooth then?)
Denise - AT and Samba (but will probably be Tango instead, don't think James can avoid both)
Louis - Foxtrot and Jive
Kimberley - Waltz and Charleston (think she'll do an AS though as see Lisa)
Lisa - American Smooth and Paso Doble (she'll probably do a Waltz though due to difficulty with lifts)
Nicky - Viennese Waltz and Salsa

I think we could be getting quite a few rumbas, with Dani, Denise and Kimberley all doing it, which could harm Dani because as you say Denise and Kimberley's should be good.

Unless they're throwing Denise to the wolves to save Lisa I doubt they'll give her the Samba, and Dani I'm not sure which dance would be best with AT, Rumba or Paso, they're both quite intense like the AT, but like cwickham I think Rumba is more likely. With Kimberley, her rumba will be better than her Charleston so it depends on how kind the producers are and, again, if they want Lisa in the final or not.

My guess (surely since there's so few choices, I can't get them all wrong this time):
Denise & James: Tango and Rumba
Dani & Vincent: Argentine Tango and Rumba
Kimberley & Pasha: American Smooth and Rumba
Nicky & Karen: Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble
Lisa & Robin: Waltz and Salsa
Louis & Flavia: Foxtrot and Jive

IMO it hasn't - they've just moved it to the semi-final. What odds will anyone give me on that?

I think that's possible too since now with four couples in the final there might be a change to the dance line up and might not be possible to do 2 new dances (showdance AND undone new dance).

Now that there is a 4-couple final I think it's a given.

Bumping this up now the result is known. Everything confirmed or a logistical certainty in bold:

Kimberley & Pasha - American Smooth, Argentine Tango or Waltz/Charleston or Rumba

I think in light of Denise being in the dance off that James will try and avoid the AT and the Samba- and may well be allowed to....

Yay looking forward to a louis/flavia jive but was looking forward to their argentine tango against dani and vincent!

Hopefully that means a Flavia/ Louis AT in the final - I can imagine when they do that dance it will amazing

Two good dances for them, but both hard to learn in one week..... I'm looking forward to both

By all accounts the change to 4 couples was made very late in the day.

It has to be a double next week.

4 peeps in the final is just a waste of time. Why not just eliminate 4th place in the semi finals and have done with it.

Peeps saying they want a Dance off for Semi to get rid of Lisa don't get that in Semi Finals the Judges Points always count. So if Lisa is in the bottom 2 with the lowest combined totals she would be out.
