Will find out tomorrow either way! ”

Tomorrow, tomorrow!!! I can't wait that long

I really hope they change their minds on that - it should be one new dance, one old dance and show dance. They've changed their minds so much this year, I hope they'll change on that.

I can't imagine how the final is going to work. What do people think? Maybe:
First dance each
First elimination
(Maybe eliminated couple do show dance)
Second dance for remaining 3 - probably show dance
Second elimination
Third dance for last 2 (and there won't be time for it to matter much to the result, so maybe no third dance)
Final result.
Which would be ten dances - almost the same as a three person final with three dances each. Two couples would have one dance they wouldn't actually get to perform. But on the other hand, ten dances and we've seen six of them before seems in danger of being an anticlimax to me. Particularly as people's show dances are sometimes great but very often disappointing.

I was asking Flavia about it on twitter the other night and it was all a bit vague, but I got the impression that the only new dance would be the showdance.... Maybe I interpreted it wrong though, but for now I'm thinking that we are out of luck for a new dance in the finals.

I think it will be the same as the last two years, the only difference being that at the beginning of the second show they eliminate two instead of one.

So still four dances for the lucky (or the deserving) two?

What, exactly, did she say? I can't imagine she'd not choose Argentine Tango as one of her dances! She hasn't done one in competition since Series 5 I think!

I predict an AT showdance

So 8 dances in the first show and four in the second? That would mean that each couple would need to learn a new dance, wouldn't it? Best ballroom, best latin, show dance and new dance?

Last two season's it's been Judges choice, favourite routine, new dance and show dance (So last year Judges chose to see Harry's Quickstep and Chelsee's Jive, whilst they themselves chose Argentine Tango and Quickstep respectively)

I asked if there would be a new dance in the final and she said 'there will be a showdance' and when I asked if no AT, she replied 'anything is possible in the showdance' ..... So from that I'm getting the impression there is NO new dance, but they might possibly be doing an AT based showdance. (But that wasn't definite)

She possibly had AT planned for the final, but had to change her mind when the four couple final got introduced meaning there would now be NO new dance and she is thereforore incorporating it into a showdance instead.

Kimberley - American Smooth & Charleston

So I was wrong on both counts , although I think my leaderboard still looks likely (Denise, Kimberley, Dani/Louis, Louis/Dani, Lisa, with a bottom 2 of Lisa and Dani/Denise)

Full list now we have Kimberley's dances:

Dani & Vincent - American Smooth and Argentine Tango
Denise & James - Tango and Rumba
Kimberley & Pasha - American Smooth and Charleston
Lisa & Robin - American Smooth and Salsa
Louis & Flavia - Foxtrot and Jive

Not terrible for any of the big four. Don't normally go in for conspiracy theories but are they perhaps trying to expose Lisa's weaknesses by giving her, Kimble and Dani an american smooth to contrast?

Am looking forward to see how Kimberley does in the Charleston !

Am bumping this thread because I am delighted that Denise has the Rumba - the training clip of it looks great too and I think it could be the dance of the series. I'm just worried with anticipated disappointment that with the finale format we won't get to see Kimberley do it which would have been a missed opportunity since she obviously oozes the sex appeal for it.

Agree that I'd love to see Kimberley and Pasha Rumba, it could be seriously HOT

Having seen everyones training on ITT last night I think Dani's AT, and Louis' Jive look pretty bad. I'm expecting them both to be overmarked because I don't think the judges will agree.

Think these dances really favour Denise and James
Save the best till last and all that.
Dani, Kimberley and Louis will all do well to
Rough run in for Lisa and Robin though
