Did anyone notice when James was thanking Nicole after their duet, he made a comment right at the end whilst looking back at Dermot. He then starting speaking to Nicole, she obviously then said "shut up" (as in being shocked) and then she looked very distracted when Dermot came back to them both. Tried replaying the comment from James but cannot make it out. Just shows that live telly is unpredictable!

I don't agree, it wasn't a fair comment at that very moment, there were three finalists in the competition.
I think James getting to the Final has achieved his objective. It's clear he likes Jahmene and wouldn't mind now if he was beaten by a decent singer.
Jahmene is going to have to improve on last night though. Broken mic or not he wasn't as good as James. That said voters probably won't go for the best of the night and he won't win if its decided on a personality contest unfortunately.

She doesn't say "shut up" she says "Jahmene" after James says "vote for Jahmene" like she had forgot to do it herself.
I didn't like the sobbing and the bedsit stuff - lots of people live in studio apartments these days - but I did find myself warming to James last night.

That's how I interpreted it. She looked annoyed at herself for forgetting, not giving him a "dirty look".
I love the friendship that's grown between James and Jahmene. I hope they work together in the future. Perhaps James could write him a song.

In an ideal world ITV could stop the voting and Simon Cowell take them both on as winners,love the friendship between them too,I'm sure neither of them wants the other to lose tonight.
