Performing First ~ Does it make a difference?

Take Denise and James last night

I thought they performed a pretty amazing jive/quickstep and scored a very decent mark but did going first give them a disadvantage?

They slipped down the leader board a fair way last night, I think they were 4th

Are the other couples, mainly K&P, D&V and L&F really upping their game tremendously to push Denise and James so far down the leader board or is it really just a case of the couple going first is maybe slightly undermarked?

I thought the placings were about right last night - although I do think Kimberley was slightly overmarked (I would have put their dance on a parr with Dani). I do wonder though if Kimberley would have scored 40 NOT going last?!

If anything I thought Denise and James were slightly overmarked.

As for that pile of shite from Robin - that was definitely overmarked and if anything Nicky slightly under marked.

I guess going fist can be a disadvantage sometimes.

Sometimes a couple seems a little underscored but the relative positions are usually right.

Except this series. Lisa - say no more.

I felt that Lisa's scores were about right last night.

I think it does. At work they're making us all re apply for our jobs as they are making redundancies so we all have to re interview and get scored. I went first of about 13 people in my dept and my manager said to me I had a good interview but probably slipped down the list a bit because I went first so they were in hindsight a bit harsher on me than the others (worrying) lol. But it shows that going first in things can sometimes be a bit dodgy
