What's happened to the Tulisa post?

Re her reaction to Chris being out/James being through?

Am I to assume that it was deleted because of the vicious comments by a small minority?

You may very well think that but I couldn't possibly comment.

Lol, that just makes it more cryptic!

One minute it was a hot discussion point, the next it vanished!

In a nutshell, it questioned Tulisa's euphoria when James went through and Chris went out. Whilst some thought she was happy for James, others thought she was more celebrating Chris' exit.

There were around 100 comments within an hour or so, with some people then getting a bit personal about Tulisa. Soon after, the thread completely vanished.

I'm not a full-timer on here and have never seen a thread disappear, but i assume moderators do that if they believe it contains defamatory statements (assuming that was the reason)?

Within a page it became very nasty and I'm no fan of Tulisa

I agree but then wondered why those specific posts weren't deleted rather than the entire thread. Maybe they just felt the subject attracted negative comments so wanted to put it to bed.

From what I saw it was becoming quite personal (more so than usual) with some posts which could be considered a possible legal issue I'd imagine. Some posters were taking a personal dislike too far.

The problem is that it is not a subject on which there could be a definitive answer so the subject would just polarise the audience and invite stronger and stronger opinions on both sides of the debate so what is the point of leaving the subject there to restart later and escalate again.

Moderators here seldom do that. Too much work for them involved?
