Rated R > TTT > Unapologetic > MOTS > Loud > GGGB > AGLM Talk That Talk > Unapologetic> Loud > GGGB > Rated R (the only track I love love on it is Wait Your Turn tbh) > AGLM (just for Unfaithful) and MOTS. |

Talk That Talk for me! It's just brilliant from start to finish, but it just does not get enough love which is sad...

I agree its amazing but I just don't like We All Want Love, it kind of ruins the amazing start to finish run for me. It for sure deserves more credit though.
It's looking like a two horse race here between Rated R and Loud |

Rated R is her best work to date i doubt she will ever come out with another album like that which has pure emotion in it
Fire Bomb is my all time favourite Rihanna song. |

Rated R is probably the best conceptually but there's a few weaker tracks on there that let it down massively (Photographs in particular) Loud is just unbelievably consistent. Every single song is an absolute tune. It has such a broad range of genres and sounds and tempos and it's just an amazing monster of an album. |

I still don't understand why Rated R bombed. She should have taken more time with it before going onto Loud.
Having said that, I think Loud is her best album to date. It's just hit after hit. I wish she had taken a bit more time with this one too. Raining Men and Man Down could have been massive. Very disappointed with Talk That Talk and Unapologetic. They both feel so rushed and disorganised. But that's what you get if you release a new album every 12 months. |

Rated R did not bomb. It sold 3.5 million copies. But it was seen as an underperformed album compared to Good Girl Gone bad which sold 8 million copies.

Toss up between Loud and Rated R (criminally underrated, if you ask me), but I chose Loud because I was listening to it at the time.
My favorite Rihanna albums in order: Loud/Rated R (Loud just ahead, I think) Good Girl Gone Bad Talk That Talk Unapologetic Music of the Sun/A Girl Like Me (no particular order for that one lol) |

Ive not heard unapologetic properly yet but i absolutely love diamonds and stay. Its really hard to choose because i was obsessed with gggb/rated r/loud/ttt when they came out but im still listening to TTT quite regularly - its a great little album and very underrated.
Its like choosing between your children! |

Loud is by far her best album.
Talk That Talk = largely unlistenable. Unapologetic = largely unlistenable. |

L, RR, U + TTT are really close and change all the time tbh. TTT host my least fave Rihanna single ever = You da One. Why on EARTH did they release that! Completely ruined the album for me. Would of sold much better if the single choices were better! (We Found Love, Where Have you Been, Drunk on Love, Another 2 )

Good Girl Gone Bad for me. It was the album where she really became noticed by everyone. And it's near perfect.
Rated R is a very close second. |
