Probably someone with more charisma... his postman, perhaps.

it's never been clear who makes the decisions. Cowell/Syco or ITV. Gary said this week he only deals with ITV and hadn't spoken to Cowell since Feb. I think it's fairly likely Gary WON'T be back next year.

Maybe the show needs a powerful industry person like Ashley Tabor who runs Global Radio. (not that Syco would allow a non-Sony figure)

One of JLS probably or a rapper.

i strongly doubt it would ever be robbie for a multitude of reason - the main one being that robbie wouldn't do it. (seriously - robbie williams, actually sitting still and having to focus, a few hours every single weekend, for months on end??? avoiding turning the air blue before the watershed? and that's just the lives....he'd probably come out with some very entertaining quips, but there's no way he would ever want to, or even could hack the whole show)

i'm pretty sure noel gallagher has already been quite open about turning it down.

Noel would be great value, but I doubt he'd take the risk.

I would like to see someone like David Walliams on the panel to replace Louis, the man was hilarious on BGT last year and made the show. But I have no doubt he will be staying with BGT.

However i know he has no experience when it would come to being a mentor
