I recall her being fairly disliked (especially on DS) well before that. It didn't help matters though.

I think she's very limited - often sounding very strained and she also has absolutely no presence. I didn't enjoy her performance with Little Mix last year although I do think she has got worse since then - probably a lot of it is down to having her confidence knocked by negative press coverage but her voice is not strong or distinctive enough for her to stand out as a soloist.

no she didn't. it was "pre-recorded due to nerves". the only live bit of it was when she sang it to an almost empty recording studio. on stage, she 100% mimed. (badly too - her lips were out of sync!)

some hate may have started then (although that was probably mostly from people who hated her already), but she got a hell of a lot of sympathy. she hasn't exactly endeared herself with constantly getting herself into slagging matches on twitter and having general attitude problems before this season even started again, but when it did she still hasn't helped herself. people are responding to her unlikable attitude and personality.
and according to herself, she was "playing a game" last year in actively making herself seem more sweet. there's an interview from her in the daily mail right now (by her mate dan wooton) where she slags off people for being fake and saying that she's just being the real her....but then goes on to say that she was putting on a fake front last year to make people like her...

i'm all for people havibg different opinions, but the hate for Tulisa is actually quite sickening! Every year someone gets it terrible.. Diana, Cheryl, Kelly and now Tulisa this year. It says alot about the members on here really.

Because she is no longer urban. As with a lot of "celebrities" who obtain some degree of fame and experience a different lifestyle they no longer actually believe in what they are preaching. When referring to their roots is comes out as just B******t buzzword bingo.

Very few members of groups go on to have successful solo careers. Just look a the identity parade on every episode of Never Mind the Buzzcocks to see how most group members are remembered after their 15 minutes of fame.

AWFUL!! I had the miss-fortune of seeing her live at a festival this year while waiting for another act to come on. Her set was an hour and a half and she was absolutely dreadful. She couldn't sing, her dancing was amateurish and she looked horrendous. Her X Factor performance last week was also awful and so was her Britain's Got Talent one. As for her performance with Little Mix on last years X Factor final...if people seriously think that she sounded "Amazing", then I would advise you to YouTube a singer who goes by the name of Whitney Houston...now she is "AMAZING". Tulisa is a load of crap and is one of the luckiest girls in the world.

Maybe she can sing, but she is not a good performer if last week was anything to go by. Pink came on and showed how a live performance should be done!

it was confirmed that it was pre-recorded. tulisa mimed along to it. if you watch her lips move you can see it anyway...

That's just it, it wasn't. She recorded the performance sometime before the show started. She may have been singing live, but she had enough time to sing the song twice if needed, then the producers could then edit the two performances together, and air that stitched together clip as a 'live' transmission, when in fact she'd just be sitting behind the desk watching herself on the screen having already performed the song earlier.....

Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, 1D and some others have pre-recorded performances in this fashion before.
