It puzzles me why people aren't posting on the appreciation threads and the threads themselves aren't as active as in previous years.
Why are the appreciation threads so dead this year?

Yep - more to poke fun at than love this time round
Perhaps because most of the finalists this year have been devoid of talent or the X Factor or both.
It's been a very lack lustre season this year, Ella was my favourite but I wasnt even that bothered when she left.
As usual, they have chosen the wrong ones to go through to the finals and are pimping the worst acts.
There isn't much to appreciate.
The sheer manipulation, the producers treating the voting public like idiots and the over pimping of some acts, especially James Arthur has pissed me off to the point that I don't even care to watch it tonight but will have to for my kids.
Just my opinion.

Kids - who'd have them LOL. I am in the same boat - I really don't want to watch, but the kids are saying we might as well see it through to the end (but we won't watch at all next year). They have control of the remote.
