Why has Tulisa's new album bombed? (BADLY!)
...Just been confirmed that her solo album charts at #35!!! That is awful! (and I do like some of her songs as well as some of her N Dubz ones).

'Sight of you' reaches #18 officially in the chart.

The album is simply tripe. It just proves that no matter how much exposure you have, it won't matter if the quality of the songs arent good enough.

#35 My word. No wonder she looked so miserable last night. Must be pretty humiliating.

Funny how Cheryl (who in my eyes doesn't have half as good a voice as Tulisa) managed to sell shedloads of her 1st and 2nd albums pretty much on the back of XF though.

Apart from the fact that the album is pants, I think appearing on X-Factor has actually had the complete reverse effect and made her lose popularity. Before people just thought it was the other two idiots in N Dubz and she was the bright one. People can now see week in week out what a repulsive, musically clueless, common (and I say that as someone who is working class myself), talentless, rude gobsh*te she truly is.

Add to that the fact that she makes herself look like a even bigger idiot with things she does in her private life and you have a distinctly hard to like or admire in any way what-so-ever creature that makes dreadful music. Nuff said.

It is not that bad of an album, but it isn't good enough for me to wanna spend 8/9 on it

I personally think it is her image and how she is as a person. She is not the most likeable person out there. Her personal life has been very controversial. Plus her music is a big departure from what it was with N Dubz, so it's likely her N Dubz fans have been put off from her leaving her "urban roots", to do generic dance crap.

That's quite a monumental flop, I don't think she needed to wait and rely on the X factor had she of released it in the summer this probably could have been more successful, Iv not listened to the album so I can't comment on the quality

It's cause all the fake promotion about her ('forgive me for what I have done, I sucked c**k, when I was young' etc etc.) has backfired. Her album bombing is a GOOD sign. It shows that thankfully the people haven't been brainwashed, buying into her crap. This is a great day for all of us!!

Cheryl isn't even that bad. Least she always gives a performance. Her Jingle Bell Ball performances from this week have been quite good.
