Format changes for next year
So Simon Cowell wants to blame poor viewing figures on Gary Barlow.
Lazy, Mr Cowell. And I'm sure there'd be a lot of people willing to disagree with you. Cut the ads, put it back to one night (at the expense of your extra phone votes), get rid of lockdown, and give each judge 1 group, 1 over, 1 girl, 1 boy.... that would expose Louis eh? (not literally, please - Louis in a onesie is bad enough). That's my advice to Mr Cowell. You can have it for free, Mr C, no royalties required. What would you change Dee Essers?? |

Scrap the mentoring and sing-off - just a simple elimination - least votes goes.
No real need to have categories - just the best 12 auditionees (whether they are boys, groups, overs or groups) Have "live" announcements of the finalists at the end of a "live boot camp" - would make it more exciting than having spoilers before judges houses. Back to basics - but carry on allowing musical instruments and performing own songs. |

Let it be about the singing not the 'joke acts'.
