Can someone confirm that the 'Smart' Panasonic Blu Ray players like the DMP-BDT120 can access the Viera Connect services like iPlayer and Netfix using the LAN port (hard wired to the router) and not just using a WiFi dongle. It looks like thats the case, but I don't want to get it (its a gift) and set it up Christmas day and find we can't get online without the dongle.

From the specs

LAN (Ethernet) Terminal yes (for DLNA, BD-Live™, VIERA Connect and Firmware Update)

If you think about it for a second, what would be the point of an ethernet port if it could only use WiFi to connect to your network?

Cheers Chris, was on the spec page earlier, but didn't notice that line.
