They all had their contracts dropped by Syco. Joe and Alexandra have done well in their own rights. Both James and Jarhmene are no where as good as the ones I mentioned. Hate to think what will happen to them.

They mightn't do huge sell-out concerts, but I think it will still improve their current lives for the next year at least. Then they will have to make it on their own.

In the case of Steve & Leon, you're right.

Joe & Matt are with different labels and doing well for themselves, Alexandra was never dropped, she just moved to a different branch of Sony that was supposed to be more suitable for her.

Why have you put Alexandra in the title?

Exactly In My Arms. They did. And Alex is in a co-sign with syco and RCA. They've gone from nothing to being millionaires.

I think there is either an X Factor lift-off or an X Factor curse for the contestants/winners careers. It seems to be random which one strikes. Just look at 1 Direction - they are a fairly mediocre boyband, of which there have been hundreds of on the X Factor, and yet they now have worldwide fame. It seems to be the luck of the draw!

Just think, if Matt didn't win X Factor he wouldn't have been opening for Steps at this year's light switch on in Stockport!

There lives will definitely change, but we are not talking a beach condo in Miami more a nice 3 bed flat with all mod cons in London Docklands.

Because she is signed to 3 record labels, Syco, Epic, RCA. Why 3? She is not promoted half as much as ID and yet IMO she is brilliant. She should be doing a lot better than she is IMO. So there you have my answer. What do you think?

Here last album was a total flop. An artist is only as good as their last record.

They were not on the X-factor ever. They don't need to sell any albums. They have made their millions, influenced people and had massive following over the years from all age groups.

Alexandra didn't exactly flop but she wasn't as successful as JLS.

Unfortunately telling them that is just much of the problem. They're not made, they have to make themselves and not expect everything to be done for them. That's what the non-winners do which is why they end up being more successful. Winners tend to rest on their laurels more.

As for artists like The Rolling Stones, once you have achieved a certain amount in your career, you are made forever as you can make a living just performing live the songs that made you famous, and will probably continue to sell copies of these albums even if you make no more profit from new material.

My point exactly. Their latest offering does not detract from 50 years.
