As with last year, the intention isn't to be X-Mas number 1
This years charity song will be - last year Military Wives, this year the Hillsborough Charity. They're deliberately avoiding it |

Not least as the cover of the Hollies 1969 standard that should be Xmas #1 released next Sunday has already sold over 100K in advance orders.

Hillsborough already had a charity #1 - Ferry Across The Mersey. They'd probably have done You'll Never Walk Alone but that had already been used for Bradford 4 years earlier.
