Well he knew there was a 50-50 chance of winning before the final started so why would he be jumping like he's just won the lottery.

He's obviously in shock! He isn't someone who shows his emotions - that's what his music's for! Well done James!

Exactly! He's just won the UK's biggest singing competition, he's bound to be in shock. I wanted Jahmene to win but congratulations to James and all the very best to both of them. .

He's probably bracing himself for battle mode. He'll need to stay strong to avoid being bullied by management who own him now into songs he doesn't want to sing, He's a true artist don't you know.

Shock? He had a 1 in 2 chance, it was hardly beyond the realms of possibility.

He says he's worked hard(he believes he is the correct winner) no humility at all.

I think he was half hoping not to win, maybe using X Factor for getting him known, but not winning. I'd rather he didn't win and get a record deal elsewhere to be honest. I hope we hear from him before August!!

It was completely obvious that he was overwhelmed and didn't really know what to say. The only people who will interpret that as arrogance are those who have disliked him all along.

Anyone could see that the guy was in total shock. It is going to take a while for it to sink in then I expect he will have a good cry, but in private.
