Nicole wanted jahmene to win.

I think it was because both finalists were the same catergory, Nicole couldnt celebrate too much as they were both hers, and the boys seem to be best friends, so it seemed a more subdued ending than normal.

Not really. Jahmene was never in the bottom two, but James was, which could have indicated that Jahmene was more popular overall.

Knowing you might win and then actually winning are not quite the same thing. It might take a while to get used to the fact.

Just because he is not a smiley kind of person people say he is miserable. We don't all have the same personality or show our emotions in the same way. I'm often told myself that I look miserable or that I don't smile and it is so annoying. I hate this attitude that everyone has to be loud grinning extroverts, and if you are not then it's a bad thing.

I imagine going to a lot of trouble to get james a Xmas gift, handing it to him excitedly and him throwing it in a corner saying,"I'll open it later",without a thanks or a smile.

I just don't think he is a very emotional person. He has never shown any emotion in any of his interviews or VTs apart from the bedsit scene yesterday. That's why I find his over emotional singing style so bizarre. It seems so unrelated to how he comes over in normal life.

I think I go for him being a misery guts, but also not very good at showing how he feels. He did look overwhelmed and jumping up and down and gushing, really isn't him. Considering some think he's arrogant and he's not good with emotions plus they really pushed Jahmene as the inspirational angel, he did well to win. I'm glad he did, however unable he was to grin and bounce about all over the stage!

I'm talking about his general personality. He isn't a loud OR smiley person. He is actually appears to be very reserved and people seem to misinterpret that as miserableness or arrogance.

he isnt arrogant, as has been said he comes across more reserved and, like many men, finds it hard to show how he feels and doesnt like to show too much emotion

jahmene is such a lil cutie though, just want to hug him, i thought he'd win purely based on that

I've always taken his manner as the opposite of arrogant - he seems quite shy - shambles on stage looking at the floor, quite often. I know he rarely smiles but maybe he's just well practised at keeping his emotions firmly on the inside. Surely that is why he has so much emotion when he sings?

I never expected him to leap around shrieking if he won, his behaviour was indeed the behaviour of someone who could not believe what they'd just heard.
