He is just a shy lad from Asda the whole thing would have left him in an unstoppable fit of giggles....

Plus second place means he can release a Gospel album if he really wants to do that

I think you're right. He really did not look that upset. Ofcourse his life will change, IMO he will do better than James Arthur. He has a huge following amongst people who like gospel.

i think he certainly got more joy out of seeing his mate james win than he probably would have felt for himself. very nice guy...a rarity in this world these days sadly.

I have hated him all the way through the series but I do however agree with what you have said.He was so gracious in defeat so hats off to him

Yeah, I think he'll do a lot better than if he'd won. At least now he can kinda do his own thing, without being controlled by the Syco puppet master.

I've loved Jahmene since the first audition.
He comes across as a lovely guy. And his voice just blows me away.
My heart is sad that he didnt win but my head says its the best outcome for him.
Hopefully he will release a gospel album - and we wont have to wait till this time next year to get it!
Congrats to James. He seems a nice guy too.

The gospel thing explains it. He looked delighted to come second and although he seems lovely, I couldn't understand why he was so pleased not to win. I understand now. I hope SC doesn't try to destroy all James's credibility. We don't want to see one puppet after another year on year.

Jahmene looked happier about James winning than James and Nicole put together

I really hope Jahmene gets to record his gospel album too. Funnily enough I think Jahmene could really well in the US in the religious market ovet there, also his background story and how religion helped him through it would be huge over there - I wish him all the best, he is a lovely young man.

How can you "hate" such a lovely person?

They liked each other. If Jahmene had prevailed James would have felt he same. Frankly saying he will do better is a tad bitter

i think she loved them both equally in different ways. suitably so seeing as how they are both so different musically. jahmene touched her soul side and james her raw side...that's raw side not rawhide....yeehaaa

Well done to Jahmane for being so gracious in defeat last night. He's done so well and hopefully he'll go on to make the kind of album he wants to. I think he'll have no problem getting signed.

No, it's like when a footballer scores against his old team, you don't celebrate out of respect. Fair play to Nicole.

Much less pressure on him to do well as the runner up. Well done to him for getting that spot.
