Well there's a big difference between being drunk and hungover. He may well be an unpleasant old queen, but he appears to have had many lies told about him by the XF propagandists this year (a bunch of nasty old queens themselves if truth be told).

With reason. None of the contestants seem to like him very much. That can't just be coincidence or them buying into the press. He's obviously done something to get on their bad side.
Last year Misha was labelled a 'bully' and a lot of contestants stood up to say that wasn't true. Nobody has stood up for Chris. Surely that makes you think there is some truth in the claims.

Either he said it or not. You can't say "Christopher said the C word to Carolynne because he was provoked then Carolynne lied to the press by saying that Christopher called her the C word". That just makes you seem like you are clutching at straws.
