why ???
If you've got musical ability and a voice, why would you want to waste it on a karaoke show like X Factor. Write your own songs, get gigs, make your own path.
As a songwriter and musician myself, I completely understand, but after hard work and and loads of effort, we've now got a record deal, had sales all over the world, music videos etc. All off our own steam, we control everything and still have some self respect left. Just an opinion... |

I agree with the above.
If you are in any way serious about doing anything in music then you will avoid X-Factor stuff like the plague infected with ebola. Just get out there and do it; you may succeed, you may crash and burn but at least it will be by your own hand. On the other hand, if you just want to be on telly then go for it, your ability is completely immaterial for that. |
