....all to Syco. Twitter's in overdrive.
Seems strange to sign them all to Syco, since they're all so different from each other

In other words why bother voting.
Syco signs them all anyway - and unlike the winner their first single proceeds won't all go to charity. Comical really - what exactly is winning the show worth when acts coming 6th get a deal with Cowell?! |

James won so naturally he was going to Syco. In series 7 Matt, Rebecca, Cher and 1D all signed to Syco, so it's not surprising at all really.

He's signed the winner and runner up in the past. There were rumours around the time Ella left that he signed her or wanted to, I'm sure he along with the judges expected her to be a finalist. Someone had on here the other day that Louis was now managing Union J, if true westlife were signed to Simon's label so its not impossible. |

If this is true then eurgh... scared Syco will shaft Union J in favour of 1D
![]() ![]() The source was Wikipedia though, so take it with a huge pinch of salt. |

I highly doubt they've finalised those decisions yet.
Syco always sign them in the first place but they may then be on a joint deal. For all of them the ideal outcome is that they're signed to Syco. I'm not sure that they'll sign Union J. Cowell did have Westlife and Five for a period but they were pitched quite differently (Five were the "bad boys"!) and he actually played them against each other in the press. Union J are very similar to 1D and Syco will be determined to make 2013 a big year for them with the huge tour, the film and a third album no doubt. Jahmene I can see getting the Marcus Collins treatment. I think they'll sign Ella but might take their time with her. James obviously gets signed and I think Syco will keep him on their roster and probably ask Labrinth to produce for him! |

I'm not surprised if they did. These appear to be the chosen ones this year.

I'll be interested to see if Syco signs Christopher. He's obviously been hugely popular with the audience at home, but I wonder if the stories of his diva behaviour are true - and if the producers feedback to Simon/Syco about whether a contestant is worth working with. If Christopher is a nightmare behind the scenes, then that could cost him a Syco contract.

Those 4 acts are always going to get signed, so makes sense for Syco to get them. It's not like any of them will be competing with the winner really - I'd expect Jahmene to go down the quick release route for Mothers Day, the rest will be paced with Ella maybe taking longer than the others. And although UJ look like 1D they actually sound very different due to Jaymi, I'd expect their music to be differently targeted.

I was hoping that Jahmene would be picked up by Decca/Universal....but whatever - hopefully this news is true.
A gospel album asap would be great!
