I agree.

I find it patronizing that they're telling me what the sound of next year is.

These sorts of things are nothing more than promotion which is designed to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I'm always open to trying new music, I've had a look/listen to the list and quite like:

Haim
Kodaline
Little Green Cars
Palma Violets
Peace

Admittedly I only discovered them because of the list, hopefully they'll do something in Belfast soon! :
