Lisa thinks she can win.

The thing is, Lisa has beaten Nicky and Michael, and has avoided the dance off unlike Denise and Kimberley, two of the most able dancers. She has every right to think she can win- she only has 2 shows to survive!

You can't blame someone for being competitive. If she didn't think she could win, doesn't mean she wouldn't still go out and do her damndest, so what she thinks is irrelevant.

I'm inclined to agree with SCD-Observer, it's not her fault it's the people who vote her through each week, the Judges and GBP. At which point, if they don't relent, she could very well win.

I don't think anyone is at "fault" Dama.

I disagree! I think the judges are very clearly at fault, especially Craig for not telling her like it is and wildly overmarking her dreadful dancing.

Who really listens to the judges anyway, cant make them out most of the time. Given the history of the comp and that entertainment is a big factor in how people vote i think she has every right to believe she can make the final and win. Good luck to her

lol Lisa's dancing is so dreadful that she hasn't been in the dance off once.

Neither do I, but never under-estimate the GBP, especially when they've had a beer or two as the holiday season reaches its peak As has been mentioned above, Chris Hollins ...

The only way Lisa can win is if she steps out of her fat suit like Quaid in Total Recall and then dances properly.

Lisa may think she's in with a chance, fair enough considering the public vote decides the winner and she's never been in the bottom two and we are now at the semis.

She may have referred to her "famous" lift and to what she thinks the public enjoy in her dancing, that is not necessarily the same as saying "I think I'm a great dancer".

Craig's interests aside, she is now the worse dancer left - even her fans would have to acknowledge that.

Talk of "famous lifts", "the Public want us" and her frequent referencing of both the Final and of winning make me wonder at her awareness of how poor her dance talent is, relative to the others.

At least Ann & John knew they were the worst, and had the grace to realise that they shouldn't win anyway.”

Ann was bragging about what she was going to do in her Showdance a clear month (at least) before the final. It's (part) of what made her unceremonious elimination so blissful.

Seriously, what's with all the Ann comparisons all of a sudden?

of course Lisa thinks she can win - she hasnt been in the dance off, the judges turn a blind eye to her sloppy footwork, terrible technique and mistakes and she always gets overmarked

I agree, good luck to Lisa.

They're all in the semi-final now. I'm sure they all think they could win now.

Never mind Lisa thinking she can win...after swerving the DO last night, I now think she can win!

Just off for a cheeky bet...!!!

I should think Denise must be painfully aware that once the outcome is decided entirely by viewer's votes, she hasn't got much chance.

It's the appropriate comparator for a person of her ability reaching this stage of the contest.

^^^^^^^^Shouldn't laugh but pffttt!

Lisa needs to be careful now shes into the semis. Although its out of her control, there is every chance she could sail through next week at the expense of a much better dancer and that would not make her very popular on set.
Anyone else get the impression there was a little animosity up in the tesspit when Lisa and Bobby had just danced? Maybe its my imagination because I know how I would feel if I were a better dancer than her she was sticking around ready to cock up my chances

I don't know whether Lisa thinks she can win or not. If she says so - well, even then I doubt she really means it but it would be a bit pointless for her to go round saying she can't win, wouldn't it? Then she'd be accused of giving up and not trying, probably because she's fat.

Don't get me wrong, I definitely think next week should be her week to go, though.

I cant see Lisa surviving this Saturday unless she pulls something really fresh out of the dance bag and one or better still two other couples perform below par (Denise falls over and Louis goes back to being wooden)

Lisa is the only one left without any dance experience and in my opinion the public are taking this into account - Denise has been in chigago, Kimberley has done loads of dance routines with Girls Aloud, Louis has done ballet, Danny has been in musicals - its definitely not a level playing field, she is also a big girl so therefore is doubly disadvantaged and the public are also taking this into account - we love an underdog and shes definitely getting the underdog vote, shes always happy, smiling and bubbly and is enjoying herself and while we know shes the worst dancer left does it really matter ??? - if it really is a dancing competition then why put in people who have danced professionally against those who have no dance experience at all ?

Unless you take 14 people who have never danced before then some competitors do have an advantage. To me thats what the program is about - people who have not danced but then come to enjoy it and entertain us and be able to dance pretty good - I dont want to see professionals or semi professionals dancing as good as the pros

I say vote Lisa - in my opinion shes the winner with Michael 2nd and Fern 3rd

Kenny Logan, Julian Clary, Gavin Henson, Laila Rouass, Claire King maybe.

This is what Widdy "dancing" looked like. I think people might have forgotten.

I think anyone with the exception of Denise can win - I just hope Lisa doesn't win.

Lisa went to stage school - it can be taken as read that she took dance classes.

I did read somewhere on this forum that Louis took some ballet classes as a child - but as he's been training in gymnastics since the age of 4 I doubt whether the experience lasted as long as Lisa's dance training.

None of which would matter if the public didn't keep her out of the bottom two, that is why she thinks she can win.
