She has been pulled up on posture, footwork, aggressiveness, untidiness and probably more stuff. I don't think the judges need to be horrible to get their point across, but it seems some viewers don't agree with me.

Lisa's dancing is far from dreadful even if it isn't technically as able as some of the other contestants. But technique is not the be all and end all of dancing and there is often a lack of appreciation of performance and entertainment value on these boards. Some of you will never get why the Julien's, Lisa's and Chris's get as far as they do; after all these years I reckon you should do yourselves a favour and give up trying to make sense of it

Looking at the remaining 5 celebs, I can see why Lisa has a good chance of winning.

First, we have the 3 stage/dance school babes viz. Dani, Kim and Denise. They're even of different ages and sizes, leaving voters for this group spoilt for choice.

Next we have Louis, a black male celeb who's fit and a good dancer. But black males historically have a bad track record for winning SCD (and even X-Factor).

Finally, we have Lisa, a stage school babe who's not a "babe" and a performer more than a dancer. That IMO is her USP which distinguishes her from the others and gives her a distinct voting base which may help her win.

Lisa messed up her dance, even admitted to it and only Len mentions it. Denise gets her foot caught in her skirt, manages to free it and continue and every bloomin' judge mentions it.

It is SO obvious the judges are favouring Lisa because she is fat. All this talk about entertainment and performance just makes me think that a clown could come on and do a better job.

I think Lisa has every right to believe she can win. She's never been in the bottom two and therefore must have a pretty strong fan base. She might not be liked much on here but, we're not the ones paying good money to keep her in. It's much easier to click on an online poll than it is to make note of a number and dial.

EDIT PS: Smokeychan1 I was one of those who adored Julian Clarey and didn't have a problem picking up the phone. With hindsight I'm glad he didn't win but, I was very happy he was there until the end.

Denise was the one who kept mentioning her dress got caught. As if to say, "Hey, I would have pulled a MUCH BETTER performance had I not got my dress caught like this mid-dance!" She drew attention to it at every possibility/opportunity.

Of course, I am not saying you were wrong that judges seemed to blank out what Lisa said after her dance near-fiasco (IMO of course), but with the exception of Craig who scored Nicky a 5 for his effort and Lisa two extra points above (I think they were comparable, so if Nicky was a five to him, Lisa would not be better than a 6 according to Craig's standards, if he has one), I think the judges scored Lisa somewhat appropriately (her position on the leaderboard was right).

Saturday and Sunday, the others talked about getting to the semi finals, Lisa and Louis talked about getting to the final. Revealing? In Louis's case the talk was lead by Tess's question though, tbf.

Yup, I think Tess had a brain freeze, or maybe it was Tess' freudian slip or something. Since he was asked, I don't blame Louis for answering her question.

As for Lisa, I don't know the context in which she said those things.

I think it's probably in Lisa's contract that she has to keep trying as long as she's in.As a courtesy to Robin, she keeps having to answer the stupid camera questions in the positive.

The judges have got rid of boring Nicky, but now they can finally drop their gushing love of Lisa, since all 4 remaining celebs are capable of turning in very polished and tricky routines. Their feet do footwork, their arms do armology, and their faces are (mostly) expressive, and their pros do amazing choreography.

With two dances to learn and perfect this week, and at least one being ballroom, I think this will be Lisa's last week through natural selection. No night of the long knives needed.

Give credit where credit is due: she's kept Robin in the competition longer than any of his previous partners, even the lazy Patsy Kensit.

Ballet is incorporated as a rule, into gymnastics training. It's especially useful for flexibility and for the floor exercise.

Louis often does look balletic, in his paso, or in his rumba. His arms and his hand movements.

Everyone made an obvious mistake up until Louis's routine. Is Dani being favoured because her mistake wasn't mentioned? and she even managed to get 2 tens (I believe) despite a glaring error. Don't you think even a little bit that Denise clutching her ripped skirt in front of her before the judge's even spoke "Look everyone, it was the skirt's fault" may have drawn more attention to her error than it otherwise might have received?

If there is any bias in favour of one contestant and against another, it is happening in this thread, not by the judges.

I'm actually quite miffed Lisa is still in, she can't help her size but she is unable to create the right lines in ballroom let alone do the steps, and obviously lifts are totally out of the question, what you saw in week one is still what you get, I think Robin has just accepted that this is her best,

the fact that Lisa has made it to the semi final and has never been in the dance off is reason enough for her to believe she has a serious chance of winning imo. i hope Lisa doesn't win as she is clearly the worst dancer left in the competition but it's all in the hands of the great British voters and far too many vote with their eyes closed. lol

I agree when it comes to Latin, but I thought the Tango half of Lisa's fusion showed a much improved ballroom. When it comes to lack of improvement, Louis and Denise aren't any different to Lisa in my eyes - Dani and Kimberley are the only two left to have become visibly stronger and more competent as the show progresses.

There are two remaining candidates who can't win. One is Denise who does not have the votes from the public. The other is Lisa who has a fanbase that will continue to vote for her, but who will get next to no additional votes because her dancing is too poor.

He's overly competitive anyway - as a sportsman has to be. He's also doing something better than anyone else- although its gymnastics moves that he has a slight advantage doing.

I also think its a bit odd when people are keen on winning while acknowledging that they are not much good . It suggests they want the win to show that they are popular - when its clearly not a reflection of their ability. That may be useful in showbiz terms, and incompetent people succeed in getting all sorts of jobs, but its not that credible a win for anyone concerned. Lisa seems committed to SCD - she's dropped her panto role for the duration leaving anyone who might have bought a ticket to see her watching someone else.

There's no room for confidence that merit will win out. To win the final you have to get there, and its pretty random who will go next week, and which leaderboard order will produce what. If you get there, you can still be one of the best dancers the show has seen, up against the sixth or seventh best on your series, with your dancing competition, who is also one of the best ever, going home in the semi final, and lose.

I agree with you about Denise she really is the same a week one, Louis has improved but only up to a point where he just goes through the motions, both Kimberley and Dani are improving with every dance which could of course be down to Vincent and Pasha
