I'm just curious, how many of you voted for James and are from the North East?

I used to work just a mile or two from Saltburn, which is vastly different (and several miles away) from the dump known as Middlesbrough, and I didn't vote for anyone, much less James Arthur. I know better than to throw any cash away on Cowell's Piggy Bank.

I like the area so much that in February I am moving to Southampton.

I'm from Newcastle and the majority can't stand Middlesbrough. I imagine it's the same for other parts of the North East as well.

From Durham, voted for Lucy and Rylan. But, yes, there's not much love lost between Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

I live in the North East - James was my favourite but I only watched the first live show and the final, and never voted. Just watched James on Youtube.
