Wow, that certainly is the latest I've heard anyone have it (there is no 'right time' of course, not knocking it) but I definitely couldn't eat Christmas dinner that late.

What time of the day do you sit down to eat? We normally sit down between 1.30-2.30pm. I don't know how people can have their Xmas dinner in the evening, it would lay far too heavy on me, so we like to eat in the afternoon.
What about you?”
12.00, and we are all washed up and put away by 1.00pm - lovely clear afternoon.

You surely don't eat the same amount of food on the other 364 do you?
Yes. On reflection, it is perhaps nearer 1.30 than 1.00 but we usually have a fairly simple Christmas dinner - there are only two of us and we do seem to clear it fairly quickly.
About 1.30ish. My aunt has learning difficulties and she gets really anxious and upset if her routine is altered. I wouldn't mind having it mid afternoon, but there is no way I could eat anything so filling in the evening

I don't eat a lot on Christmas Day either. I may have a starter like smoked salmon but the actual dinner is just a roast at the end of the day with a little more care going into the prep. Others will have a dessert like Xmas pud but I don't like sugar so none for me. I only eat one meal a day so it doesn't make a lot of difference to me.
Will be about 3pm for us as many members of our family are doing various meals on wheels/homeless charity stuff in the morning, so it will be timed for about 30 minutes after the last one is due home.

Similar story here. I try to have it ready between 5.30pm - 6pm, which is our regular dinner time. We don't go overboard with the meal (main course and dessert) so it's only a little heavier than meals at any other time of year because we don't normally have a dessert. We never eat lunch, and I prefer to cook fresh on the day, so having it in the evening gives me all afternoon to cook it. Perfect for us.
In between 12-1 usually. This year is the first year I'm not having it at my mums and having with my fiancee and her parents instead so I think it's going to be about 2.
