Liverpool let Christopher Maloney down.
He was sailing to the winners spot before Liverpool forgot the pick up the phones for him on saturday for some reason.
I hope you scousers are gutted about your man not winning and rightly so. |

Oh Christopher Maloney(I know its you) we never did like you, producers had to draft in people to act as your fans. Most of Liverpool were embarrassed

I'm not from Liverpool for starters, I can only go from what a friend of a friend tells me.
Those scousers were meant to have absolutely loved him, some even calling him a 'fresh alternative to the Beatles' apparently. |

Considering all the contestants are now coming out about how abusive he was, ne never deserved to win. From all accounts he's a nasty piece of work. This is the man who punched a female team leader and got the sack remember. Hope he rots in obscurity.

Where are the other 11 losers from? Did there cities not let them down or is it only Liverpool who are supposed to do regional voting?
Personally I'd never vote for someone just because they were from the same area.. |

Liverpool didn't let him down if they didn't want him to win . . .
It is only one reigon also, more people than one city's population (who watch x factor so not the entire population) would have needed to vote for him to win. |

No, the X Factor producers have let Chris down. And now some of his fellow spoiled-bratty contestants are letting him down. And some ungrateful press people are letting him down. He probably let himself down a little, but who wouldn't crack a bit under the kind of negativity he was facing? Not many. Also, I'm pretty sure Chris' votes came from all over.

I imagine that once he'd done that interview for The Sun, it was Liverpool who felt that he'd let them down.
Not the smartest move ever, was it? |

So we let Christopher down did we.
In Liverpool, we are not sheep, we like who we like and vote if we want too, we are not compelled to support/vote everyone who comes from Liverpool. Although cross us, we dont forget or forgive easily.... look at the Sun newspaper. Funnily enough, I was talking to my friend who knows Chris well, she still likes him but never voted, neither did I but that was more to do with the fact I did not want him to win, I did not want any of them to be honest. I certainly did not want James to win, not after his mother admitted that James may have exaggerated the truth slightly about being homeless. So I thought they were all on a sob story ride. What I have noticed is X factor wants to pick the winner and not the public. They appear to do everything possible to allow this to happen. The bullying of Christopher and I do mean bullying has been so blatant, even down to the leaked media reports. Carolyne actually admitted in her tweet to Chris that X factor released that story about him last night, so that is proof of what they have done. I do not care for Christopher, couldnt care less if he did not frequent my tv again, what I do strongly object to is the treatment he received. Louis and Tulisa were totally unprofessional and were at times bullying. The "leaked" media articles seemed to be designed to cause the worst possible outcome for Chris, namely losing votes and support. He may be a diva, but that does not excuse what has happened to him, if I was him, I would certainly take legal advice. As for the others, yep, maybe he was not nice, but I have seen so many times when someone is being constantly bullied and maligned, sheep tend to follow the leader, especially so it does not happen to them. Although I have been a massive fan of X Factor over the years, this was my last series. I could not stand to watch the next contestant that they throw to the lions. It is not my kind of entertainment to see someone subjected to what he had to put up with week after week. |

Did you not pay any heed to this request OP?
We didn't let him down, thanks. I can't speak for the whole of Liverpool but certainly if I had wanted him to win I would have voted for him. |
