Hmm he wasn't over the top certainly but I think he was just acting - trying to tone it down/be more serious. I wasn't convinced by it tbh but he looked gorgeous and they trying to develop their characters and acting. It's all good.

I think it was just the part he was playing, John was the over the top cliched magician and Edward was meant to be a kind of nonplussed randomer..I thought it worked well and was really funny, I really like these new, structured videos, I think they are really clever and its great they are developing and learning new skills

I wonder if Edward had a cold or something. His nose looks a little pink and I'm sure there was a recent tweet (since deleted?) about the Jeds feeling unwell. That would explain why John does most of the work and Ed is subdued.

On the other hand, "quiet Edward" seems to be a character that Ed has been doing in recent JedwardTV comedy sketches. It's the classic double act of the straight man and the funny guy.

Do you think they work better as both funny/straight men and not pigeon holing themselves? I think I always saw John more as the straight man for some reason but I'm not entirely sure that works either as he seems more comfortable with the over top/slapstick performing.

He's a bit of a strange individual JR. I've heard he is often seen going through airport terminals wearing eye catching things like huge cowboy hats. Sounds like he has a big ego and wants to be noticed.

I think as Jedfans we really ought not to judge people for eye catching clothes and wanting to be noticed! LOL. really thin ice!!!

He does seem to be famous in Romania. I've seen the Romanian commentary clip for Jedward at ESC 2011 and they managed to get a reference to him in while talking about the twins.

The Planet Jedward Ball video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BQWSqeRLoY) is a good example of John being the straight man and Edward being craZy. Though if I remember correctly, Edward was a little unwell at the time (a cold, I think) so I think that explains his unruliness! The stuff they do that's improvised - especially Jedcams - doesn't seem to have those roles in either way.

The style of their videos keeps changing. I expect we'll see a series of videos with "quiet Edward", and then they'll stumble onto another style of performance.

Surely this was the airport's responsibility though, especially if part of the main luggage and not carry on? I hope they have proper insurance - I always worry about that because they seem to mislay a lot of stuff.
