Never mind the buzzcocks didn't do any favour to them.
They were only 18 when they filmed Buzzcocks (they're 21 now). Back then they were somewhat naive and would get booked on panel shows who wanted the "crazy Jedward" act but the panelists would rip into John and Edward when they delivered exactly what they'd been asked to do.

It's a pretty unpleasant thing to experience every time you're on a panel show in one country. Despite frequent invitations, John and Edward haven't done a panel show since 2011, instead sticking with more enjoyable television experiences in the UK, like their BBC children's show Jedward's Big Adventure.

It's also worth noting that it's only the UK where they get these hassles. In Ireland, various European countries, Canada, and the United States they're just treated like who they really are - entertaining pop stars.

People forget they are Irish and not from the UK.
They've never watched those shows, they don't know who any of those people are, they certainly aren't familiar with the format of the show which basically gangs up in them. Certainly true of the miserable "comedians" on shows like 8/10 cats and they pretty much disliked doing them so I am glad they stopped going on them!

And the time John owned the crap out of Jack Dee we know it ended up on the cutting room floor cuz Dee used the C U Next Tuesday word.

There's an article on Popledge today about the twins taking over the Grammy's, also mentions some high profile stuff coming up over there

http://popledge.co.uk/jedward-take-o...-opportunities

Also Fleckingrecords say they're about to break America http://bit.ly/X6oe7J

The twins started following Aly & AJ Michalka and had night time 'breakfast' with Anna Margaret. They all have associations with the Disney Channel. Maybe, there is some Disney project in the pipeline? Pure speculation

I love following their adventures. It's a bit of added excitement to life

is it not usually the way that a magazine/newspaper writes a story and reporters from other magazines/newspapers copy only the text without researching if there is any truth in it? I hope they will get work in USA but we have to be patient(would not be the first time when we believed/hoped something because we read about it and than nothing happened)

I agree, but the amazing thing is that all these magazines/newspapers are talking about it as if it could happen - they don't think the idea of the boys making it in America is ridiculous any more.

Flecking Records and Pop Ledge are two sites that write about the Jeds a lot, but they're both one-person blogs that source all their news from the name places we do - Twiiter and the media. It's cool when sites like that cover the Jeds, but they can't really be considered to have any special insight.

I think the same goes for some of the bigger outfits! The Mail Online and Reveal for instance. I don't know about the Irish Independent though - have they ever given us any previously unknown info about the Jeds that has turned out to be true?

If we trust some random people tweets, twins are currently in Heathrow airport. Welcome back John and Edward!

I think that was just a fan messing about.

Here's the next installment of the Tara/Jedward story from the Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...=feeds-newsxml

Edit: Amazing, only nice comments so far!

So there is going to be "X Factor - The Musical" written by Harry Hill. http://www.sugarscape.com/main-topic...ot-details-ooh

I wonder if Jedward or characters based on them will feature in it?

So that's put the kybosh on Jedward the Musical then? Although I thought the same once I'd seen Viva Forever - they've missed the boat, again!

I'm reading on twitter that the twins may film next week with Keith Lemon (for Celebrity Juice I guess), do we know if they've talked about it in the airport.

BTW after doing a L.A.-London-Dublin flight, the twins have spent 2 hours in Dublin's airport with the fans... and people ask us why do we love them

Although that was partly due to the fact that they had to wait ages for a 7-seater taxi that they needed for all their luggage!
