I don't know who is better, him or Santi at Arsenal, but they would both be very lovely signings!

You can certainly see why Benitez wanted him at Liverpool a few years ago!

The behaviour of Luiz was a disgrace there. Lying on the ground pretending to be hurt, whilst laughing. he was hardly touched in the first place either.

Gamesmanship I'd say. I'm no Chelsea lover but if Rafael doesn't kick out he doesn't give Luiz a chance.

The thing that seems to have annoyed people is the laugh, but it's hardly the end of the world. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a big storm in a teacup. We've had too much of that recently.

Definitely a red!

The kick hardly touched him. It was a dive, and the behaviour on the ground was disgusting.

At least Drogba pretended to be hurt when he dived every week.

Mata is the better player, by a good distance.

Well done on today chaps, I think we're all in agreement that it was an awful game of football, but one team needed to win it and the other didn't, and it showed.

You were all ready to condemn him though.

The kick on Luiz was even less than the ballboy got though, and Luiz was elbowing in the first place. It was a disgrace. cant you accept that?

Again. Pretty much every player dives and feigns injury. We are all hypocrites about it. They've had Drogba, you have Bale. Both have dived. Both have feigned injury. If you kick out you get sent off, it doesn't matter if it touched its the intent as people were saying with Suarez.

I can see why Spurs fans would be annoyed though, it puts the pressure on for the final games!

I quite like the both of them, they are very fine players indeed, and both deserve all of the plaudits that they are getting.

Seconded on the second bit of your post, there was ever only going to be one team winning that match, and we were never going to be it.

Not really - I found it quite amusing

All this stuff makes footy more interesting - all this faux outrage is boring as hell.

The result here doesn't surprise, and I am more annoyed by blatant cheating, without any attempt to at least hide the fact.

Bale gets all manner of stick, and frequently booked, yet several of those bookings were wrong. I have no problem condemning any of our players who get booked for diving, if they have, because I hate it.

This needs stopping, and yet most do defend their own players when they do it, but get excited when it happens against them.

I dont think we'll finish top four unless we beat Chelsea, which on current form we wont.

Says it all. Chelsea are widely condemned as having no class or morals, so this is to be expected.

Bale does get too much stick I don't think he is diver personally, in terms of Luiz, Rafael kicked out at him, bottom line it's violent conduct and a red regardless of Luiz's reaction afterwards.

Diving is part of the game now. Whether you like it or not. Somebody dives or goes down easily in pretty much every match now. The officials don't help matters. The players know unless they go down they don't get. I'm over it and have accepted it.

I don't get all the faux outrage about it. There's too much of that in football at the moment. It's ruining the enjoyment for me, more than people cheating.

It's part of the game because people accept it.

Many dont, and seeing these antics ruin it for me. To say people complaining about cheating ruins the game is ridiculous.

It's the way the world is these days - this Daily Mail type of outrage - it's football, it's a contact sport and s**t happens.

If Luiz had not dived, I doubt there would have been a red card. He hardly touched him, and it was retaliation to being elbowed, possibly twice.

It is part of the modern game, and if you are happy with that, all I can say is that we have different ideas of what we want to see.

Don't kick out at people and you don't get a red, fair enough Webb didn't see Luiz barging into Rafael but he also missed a blatant foul on Luiz in a dangerous position earlier in the game.

Refs miss stuff
