Agreed, although if any team wanted Modric "cheap" nows the time to buy him! I think the in-form Fellaini would hurt RAs arse pocket more than buying Modric would atm.

Not too sure about that, dont think Real Madrid would want to take a £15 million pound loss from a player they bought only 4 months ago. Might let him go out on loan though, or sell him for £30m.

Hypothetically if you did get him, where would he play? Who would get dropped for him to fit into your team?

I thought Oscar would have been dropped back into the Modric/Lampard position, but there's nothing to suggest that so far.

Your probably right, he may just stay there and be a bit-part player, like Kaka almost.

Id much rather see Fellaini at Chelsea though.

Shouldnt be losing this, i thought we were doing pretty well until a stupid mistake at the back costs us. Michu clinical finishing whereas ours is terrible. Get Ba on now and hopefully we can still win this match.

this first half shows us the value of an in form striker

get torres off, ba on

I'd rather he'd started, but I have to say it does make a nice change to know we have a goalscorer on the bench.

I cannot believe Ba's not by now! And people wonder why we can't take to Benitez!

Well lets hope we don't have to wait till 80minutes for a Rafa sub

Apart from the away wins at Norwich and Everton Rafa has not been getting the results needed. And if we can't even win the League Cup with the current teams in the competition he's going to find it very difficult to get a job after this one at a top club.

I've been watching for 30 minutes and I've only just noticed not-Ba. How much longer do we go before making the switch, FFS??

Was Benitez always this inept at substitutions ?

Took him till we were 1-0 down against Corinthians to make a sub when it was blatantly obvious the whole team where having a picnic on the pitch, and the same story goes for QPR when subs had to be made at half time.

It's saying a lot when a pitch invader makes more of an impact on a game then you did.......

....Luiz shoots too much.

What a farce, is Ivan trying to make us lose? 2nd terrible mistake. Who said Ivan should be our first choice CB? Clearly not.

Shot ourselves in the foot, two school boy mistakes from Ivanovic and uncharacteristic poor finishing. Swansea did well to capitalise on our mistakes and they defended our crosses really well (although not really being against any aerial threat from us until Ba came on)

I have absolutely no time for Torres any more, another awful performance. I know he wont but id love to see him go this month!

Ba MUST start at the weekend!
