Yeah Silva's form has dipped a bit lately but he's much stronger on the ball than Mata is. If Mata can toughen up a bit and defend more he will be the complete player. Until then, Del Bosque will not play him as you can't have a player in midfield who's not willing to retain possession at all costs.
He does get game time for Spain, he scored in the euros and featured as a sub quite often. I think he will get more game time in the future but he unfortunately is in an era where the spanish team has so much talent that even top top players like Mata cant get in the first eleven all the time. I think he could well get a look in, in the next few months over Silva etc. |

I still dont agree, i actually think Mata is one of our hardest workers and you often see him tracking back and pressing the defenders, he seems to run constantly and i wouldnt be surprised if hes the player in our team who runs the most. Perhaps can get pushed off the ball a little easier than most as he is small and doesnt have much muscle on him, but other than that i dont really agree with you. I would question Hazard and Oscars defending and workrate over Mata's anyday. Torres too.

This is beyond a joke. How many 2-0 leads are we going to chuck away?

This match absolutely sums us up. Every team knows CFC tire after 70 minutes and struggle to keep the pace.
WHY Rafa, does it take injury time for you to make subs? Get fresh legs on the pitch to hold the God Damn Line. How many times do we have to tell this complete and utter dope? |

That dive from Cesar lmaoo.
Can't fault Dave's effort there. ![]() You know, I'm not even mad. With Rafa at the helm, we are going to get crap results like these. Summer can't come soon enough. |

Whatever Rafa may or may not have had in the past, he clearly hasnt got it now. he is a busted flush. The tactics, the terrible terrible subs. There is a reason LFC would not touch him with a barge pole. The really galling thing, is that United and City are almost are bad as we are. United got absolutely battered all 2nd half. This year the league was there for the taking, and United will win it in spite of themselves. |

Well thats a shock, i stop paying attention at 2-0 as i thought we would cruise it, and surprise surprise its 2-2. Nothing surprises me this season anymore. Agree with everyone else, top 4 has to be our goal now.

Im not seeing may people coming in here and telling you guys how grateful you should be to have Benitez now?
Absolute shambles of a manager (who knew eh?!!!) you would be better putting Avram Grant back in charge, at least he would let the dressing room get on with it themselves. Cant see RA allowing another 2-0 lead to relegation candidates for the second time go unpunished. |

Our worst management decision to date, hiring this complete oaf who everyone at CFC hates with a passion. |

I know what you mean, the sooner the season ends with us 4th or better i will be very happy.

We really need more players, if we don't recall/sign any new players I'm going to freak out!

When they scored their first why not just bring JT on for the last 5 mins. Hardly need to be a genius to know that they would just sling it in the box. Lost the will to be mad anymore.
