True, but you will still be in the draw today, as a possible opponent of ours, which is what I meant earlier.

I thought Luiz should have been sent off.
There's no getting away from it, when the red mist comes down he does some really stupid and sometimes nasty things. |

Fabulous win today. Took us a while to get going but we managed it in the end.
Great to see our captain back in action and another great performance by Frankie. Also...about that Luiz incident, I don't really understand why everyone was making such a huge deal out of it? It seems that whenever Luiz makes a brash challenge the knives are out against him. Agree with other posters; Ba took a full boot to the face yet hardly any fuss was made over it.

It it were Rooney, it would be put down to "red mist" and laughed off. His manager would be saying "you cant take it out of his game" etc etc

Just came on here to say David Luiz is an absolute piece of garbage. Human scum. 4-0 up and he makes a cowardly, spiteful challenge like that on a player interested only on playing the game for a fraction of what that joke earns.

Got the job done in the end, Good to see a number of goalscorers on the sheet as well, Rather have a number of different players score our goals then just have a couple.
Noticed while at the Bridge today, some of the pictures around the Bridge have been changed, strangely enough there are the ones that contain Robbie. Not a major shock i have to say, Can see the idiot Gouley's fingers all over it |

I think its disgusting that Robbie has been airbrushed out of certain pictures around the Bridge, apart from the fact he's a Chelsea legend, he won us the CL for f**s sake!!
Didn't like David's tackle at all, was extremely lucky not to get sent off. Glad to hear he went straight to the Brentford dressing room afterwards to apologise to Jake. If we get past Middlesborough, we get the toughest draw, away to United, not confident at all! I am hoping to go to the Sparta Prague game this Thursday. |

Am not shocked by it, I think Chelsea know it was one of if not their most ilogicial move to date and what with alot of fans still not showing any signs of warming to Rafa (who could warm to that man)i just think they trying to reduce the embarrsment that fans can cause on social media (pics of them next to Robbie and the cup etc) sites, It is a shame but seems we are still using the Ken Bates manual of running a club |

It's just becoming increasingly embarassing being a Chelsea fan when the club seem to show such little respect to people who have contributed so much.

Frank has contributed tremendously to the club, but for that he has also been rewarded tremendously too. He now has so much money he never has to work again, and his family never have to work again, and there family too. He has a celebrity lifestyle, model ex-wives and celebrity girlfriends. And he also got to lift the biggest trophy in the sport he loves. In reality, he should go in to work and shake Mr Romans hand every morning and thank him. Lets not forget that. If Mr Roman decides to say thank you and goodbye, then so be it. |

It is a difficult one to square, i can see both sides of the argument. In football, clubs owe the players absolutely nothing. Its harsh, but very true.

But my comment wasn't just about Lamps, it was also in reference to this business of the club apparently removing photos of Di Matteo from around the Bridge. |

Thank-you. My son is a big fan as well and we had a great week-end over for the match speaking to all the fans the banter was great.Seeing your hero's in real life (so to speak) is so much better than on tv.

Lamps deserves much better treatment for the loyalty he's given to the club
However, he was/is paid £175,000 per week for his "loyalty". |

Hello, new person
![]() I hate to say anything against Lampard, but the way people are going on about him right now is starting to get more than a little tiring. Especially from the press as, this time last year, he was portrayed as one of the most horrendous examples of the modern day footballer....now, he is God, and the club are c**ts for not throwing everything + the kitchen sink at him to keep him here |

It's fair enough the fans saying it, but you're right about the press - they're as fickle as anything and put whatever spin they can on things to continually portray Chelsea in a bad light.

He may be on a high wages atm, but who's to stay Frank won't take a squad role? He's said in the past he'd love to keep playing here and do a 'Giggs' but it doesn't seem possible when the board aren't even having any talks with him.
