In summary a great performance, let's see it continue against Steaua in the Europa League.

Superb performance and should have nicked it on the balance of play - worst possible result though and we have to endure another sapping encounter at Stamford Bridge.

Nice job by Liverpool to round off a semi-satisfactory afternoon.

Last thing we needed was a replay but at least we showed some spirit.
I fear we may pay for the late chance. I still make United favs.

You've not exactly been short of replays either. How many games have you played this season then?

Agreed! It's not often you see a team dominate Man U on their own patch like we did in the second half. At last, an exciting game to watch!

The players raised their game when they needed too, and for that they should be applauded. We showed we are good team today on our day, unfortunatey we havent been at our best often enough this season. The schedule makes things even worse and its hard to see us maintaining that level till the end of the season. In some ways i hope we just crash out of the two cups so we can concentrate on the league. We NEED to come top 4 or it will be disastrous for the club. Thank you Liverpool for doing us a favour today! probably a better result for us than the draw was.

Laughable excuse from fergie that Man Utd were tired, surely our players are far more fatigued, just back from romania for christ sake! And played way more games than them.

Just thought I'd leave this here. Ian Wright was the US co-commentator for our game against your team and he was a load of shit. He also was having a go at Chelsea fans the entire 2nd half. It was disgusting and I'm far from a Chelsea fan.

Congrats on the draw. Should've gotten a win,.

He no more a bench player for us at the moment. Keep banging the same old drum but this guy is a find and going to be something special (hopefully) but its going to take alot of hard work and time.

Time is something you dont have at Chelsea due to the owner and the number of teams currently fighting for 2 or 3 places in the league.

At a club like West Brom (with a great manager) he will get time and use to be being a "big" player, He comes to us next season and he is just another name in a list and a list of some massive names (which could grow if we buy).

At the moment he is in form and doing well, What he needs to learn is how to react when he is out of form and its alot more easy to learn that in a club like West Brom then it is then at a club like Chelsea

No news on a replay date yet? I'm guessing they're waiting to find out if we're still in the Europa after thursday's game before scheduling something?

Everyone lining up today to tell us how stupid we are for not trusting Benitez.

2 successful substitutions in how many games?

Lukaku should be at the club next season, him + Ba and Falcao would be fantastic, I can hope at least. Torres needs to go

I think every Chelsea fan at half time realised we needed to get Hazard on because Moses was having a shocker. I do like Moses though, he's a strong, physical player and he loves to toy with the opposition's fullback but his decision making at times is awful. Towards the end of the second half, he managed to cut inside but decided to go for goal himself which had less than a 1% conversion rate. If he actually looked up, he could of poked the ball in to Oscar or Ba and it would have been a goal. Ba's reaction afterwards summed it perfectly. It's not the first time he's made decisions like these; when I was watching him at AFCON he did this quite a few times too. He really needs to cut this out of his game as he could become one of the best wingers in the PL.

First half we were very sloppy. Luiz was having a nightmare and Cahill wasn't much better. Our spacing was dreadful too, far too compact in the centre and our fullbacks need to stay out wide! There were times where Azpi was standing right next to Mata!!!

Second half we were much much better. Hazard's goal was so sweet! I thought Rami had a really good game too. Won a lot of tackles/interceptions and started a lot of our counter attacks and generally kept things ticking along. It was good to Chelsea showing some fight; if only we had that attitude from the beginning...

One last thing: Ferdinand is a kn*b! What the hell was doing? Could you imagine if Terry did that? ITV would have been baying for his blood and they would have replayed it like 20 times...

Torres reaction to being tripped and shoved to the floor was sad to see. He's pretty lifeless and all his oomph is gone. I used to give him loads of stick but now it feels unworthy and too much like puppy kicking. Hope he goes back to Spain this summer as it's painful for everyone watching him.
Benitez did well yesterday, but that doesn't make up for all the leads that turned into draws and losses under him. The fact he can stir them for a game against Man Utd, but can't do the same for West Ham, Fulham, QPR, Southampton, Steau Bucharest, Sparta Prague (despite the win), Swansea etc is a real problem. I fully expect to drop points at home to the the Hammers this weekend. That's how much confidence I have in how we're playing.

and play him when?

Where would he play? Out wide? He comes to us next season and he will be gone in the first transfer window

Lukaku, de Bruyne and Kalas are all good enough to come here now and make a difference. If they're shipped out again we'll have to sign more players to come in ahead of them, and that won't do them any good at all. I'd hope our next manger is one with more than 1 style of play, meaning that he will be able to find a use for more than just 1 striker. United and City both do it, no reason we can't.

At the very least they have mastered the level they are currently at, if loaned out again they would need a big step up. Same goes for Chalobah - by the sounds of it he has completely bossed the Championship already.

Have just seen the hi-lights of the match and what a second half we really stepped it up.
Know i said i didn't want a replay but on that 2nd half display we deserved it at least and really Mata should have scored but for DDG'S toe. Will have to wait and see when the replay is as the fixtures are starting to pile up.
